The motorcycle driveline is something I don't skimp on, over the last 50 year of riding motorcycles and 5 years of working on them professionally I've had, seen and repaired chain failures. I ride a KTM500 and 300TPI these days and all I use is DID x-ring chains, they hold up well to the bike's power and adverse environment plus the quality is excellent. I typically have to adjust the chain a couple times when new and after that very little stretch, adjustments are very infrequent. Eventually you'll notice that adjustments are more frequent and that's the chain telling you it's approaching it's end of life. That's a long time with correct chain maintenance. I also use a DID riveted masterlink to further improve reliability. There's a reason they are all you see on large street machines. Cheap out on your drive line and you may get away with it but if you're like me and ride in very remote areas the piece of mind is well worth it. ... show more

I bought chain longer then needed and used a chain tool to size and rivet together the length needed. Chain is as strong as it’s master link (included). Best to buy extra riveted link as I broke many x-ring seals trying to rivet using existing links. Wanted to buy a better then stock O-ring - glad I D.I.D! ... show more

Noticeable difference from stock chain, looks great and I expect it to last a while. Bought this chain becausse I changed sprockets on front and rear so did the chain at the same time.

Even though this chain is for dirt I use it on my street bike and it hasn't stretched in 4000 miles like jt chains. My link did fly off during a ride in the first 400 miles but that master link was hold its own literally and did I mention no stretching for 4000 miles

DID is certainly a trusted brand among chain manufacturers. I have never had a substandard experience with their products. This chain is obviously well made and attractively finished. And this model has a reasonable price/performance ratio. Certainly not the cheapest nor the fanciest option, but I’m assured of thousands of miles of worry free use at a fair price. BTW- You will only get one master link locking clip included in the package. Good luck buying one separately if you screw up the original. So, BE CAREFUL, USE MASTER LINK CLIP PLIERS, or TAKE IT TO A SHOP if you don’t know what you’re doing installing a chain. I used to work at a dealership so I know: You cut your old chain, screwed up installing the link clip, now your bike can’t be ridden and you’re paying us to pick it up and do it right instead of saving yourself any money.
