4 stars. Because it would been nice if it came with a bolt. Tho came with a nut. I have to change out the pulley wheel to make align with my setup. But overall is 100% functional, couldn’t be more amazed how it work for my application, FRP GMB100 with a 212 swap, not I a lot to wiggle the motor to be tighten on small frame. It came with a tensioner but the bracket pulley helped a lot and now has more tension on the chain.

Really the rating is Incomplete because, I haven't got it installed yet. I got it for an old Manco go kart. The mounting plate for the torque converter covers just about every everywhere it might have been able to be mounted. Very frustrated. It was only $11 so, if I can't figure out how to install it, I'm not out much. Note: YouTube didn't have any useful videos demonstrating how to put it on a go kart. And the package did not include any instructions.

I know this tensioner is for a jackshaft, but I bought it for use on a FRP GMB100 with a Predator 224 swap. The chain tensioner on the bike didn't have enough adjustability and you can't reposition the engine very much. It took some figuring out and a zip tie to get it on, but the spring isn't strong enough and kept throwing the chain and bent the tensioner on the second test run. Ended up just snugging down the bolt to hold it in place in the upper position to provide tension. It would be much better if they provided a stronger spring. (Update) the swing arm on this thing can't take any amount of force, it just bends, DO NOT RECOMMEND
