These are great. They are huge in size and exactly what I wanted. I needed these to store Holiday items so that I have them all in one place and can actually see them in the storage container. It helped to clear up some areas so that I have more storage space. Also Rubbermaid makes a good product.

    • Break quickly - very brittle - too brittle - extremely fragile buyer beware

Buyer beware. Don't buy these they are too brittle, will break quickly and will need to be replaced. These were sold as tough and I bought them because they are Rubbermaid and they are clear plastic, but they perform just like the cheap stuff. Extremely fragile, slight impacts completely shatter them. Drop them only four to six inches with anything in them and they crack straight through the bottom. Stacking them and sliding them on top so that the back side drops a few inches and they crack and shatter. They perform like thin glass and that is saying something. They are unacceptable for a storage container this size. Other Rubbermaid products that I have purchased are tough and durable but they are opaque. When I found these, that they were clear plastic and made by Rubbermaid I had confidence they were as advertised. Very disappointed and at this price point they are incredibly expensive and not worth even buying them at 5 cents on the dollar because they just won't last. Unusable for storage other than soft goods (blankets, linens, plush toys) sitting on soft carpet. Even then if they are pushed against something solid or hard under the bed, they will crack. Also after using them past the return date which is not long, which I did, they fail quickly and are non returnable. ... show more

These are not air tight but they came intact and seem durable with end locks. They hold a lot of stuff. If something is up against the lid it will bow the lid a bit and although the locks hold the lid on, it will not be closed. I used for blankets and collectable toys. I would not use these for outdoor storage unless your garage is pristine, heated and well sealed off. Critters could get into these. ... show more
