    • Not as bad as everyone says
Given the price and availability of a genuine Mikuni, this is a good alternative. I do not trust the jetting in these things so I generally try to swap the oe jets in before using them. I've used two of these before and they've worked well both times.

Looks identical to the stock one. This is the 3rd one we've put on this 98 atv. Replaced the stock one in around 2010 and the Kawasaki purchased replacement cost about $250 back then. This one was a perfect fit, didn't even have to change the cap. Nozzles were already adjust, you could see the mark where they tested the carb. ATV started right up, no choke adjustment. I think the Kawasaki stock part is around $450 right now, so this saved us a ton of money. Just buy it, if you need a new one. ... show more

I've used other knockoff carbs, but this one seems a notch above on quality. Kn my kawasaki bayou 220, installation was straightforward, and the settings needed no adjustments. I simply installed it, turned on the fuel, allowed the bowl to fill, and it cranked right up. Been using for 2 months with zero issues. ... show more

Carb worked perfectly on my 07 bayou 250. My only complaint is that the choke did not seem to work well but with that being said, the bike didn’t need it even in cold weather it would bump right over without it. No adjustments necessary and the extra jets where nice to have.
