Nothing seems to work better for fake grass. Tried regular rakes, and even power rakes. The power ones are too heavy and awkward to use. Regular ones don't get much at all. This gets the stuff you didn't even know was there, but stuck under the top of the grass. Picked this one looking at how it was assembled. Wanted something that screws together or was one part to start with. This one bolts the head to the stick vs others that have some plastic connection, or has adjustable handles that usually don't stay in the right space and just make it heavier. This one is the perfect combo of weight to strength Used it on my whole lawn, then my neighbor stole it for his for the day, held up perfectly and did the job so easily.

It was working ok, but leaf blower was much easier and more fast to remove leaves from artificial lawn.

I loved this turf rake. After a week's with of use, I thought it was much better than a previous turf rake I had bought. I particularly liked the handle and weight. However, after using it a couple of months on my artificial grass, the nylon (plastic) teeth started breaking off (see the accompanying picture). In a couple of weeks, it will be worthless. Not one of my first turf rake's nylon teeth have broken off after using it three years (but the handle is broken). Value for money: Don't buy. Weight: Great!
