These curtains have a good overall look. They pretty much matched up with the pictures and my expectations. They seem to block the light when closed (as I wanted), but I made a mistake ordering the size I needed and have to work on that, my fault not theirs. So, a recommended buy.

The NICETOWN curtains keep out the outside light, making me feel safer and keeping my house darker in the mornings. I have a late-sleeping teen whose door is open in the morning, and the curtains prevent light from the window beside her door from entering her room. The curtains are heavy but not too heavy to hang. Even though my smaller children sometimes manipulate the panels, the material stays wrinkle free. I'm glad they can be washed and dried with a regular machine. The hanging holes are large enough to fit on average rods or hooks. The length is perfect for my large bay window. I feel safer knowing no one can see through the curtains to the inside of my home. Also, I've noticed the noise from vehicles passing my home isn't as loud.

I just bought a new comforter with a creamy background and colorful floral print. I wanted to get new blackout curtains to coordinate with it so I could have a fresh new look for spring. These new “faux linen” curtains in Natural are the perfect color! Although they are made of 30% Linen and 70% Polyester blend fabric, they look and feel like 100% Linen. The blended fabric makes them easy care - machine wash and dry. They are replacing black blackout curtains, and I was afraid the light color fabric wouldn’t give me the same room darkening effect, but they work great. The backing on these is very effective at keeping bright sunlight out of my eyes when I sleep in. They hang beautifully after steaming them. The grommets at the top are metal in a nice antique bronze color. These curtains are very well made using quality materials. So glad I ordered them.

Finally, a set of curtains that is truly blackout! I have been fooled multiple times, especially buying online when you don't get to see and feel the product first. The first thing I noticed when I pulled these out of the package is how thick and heavy they were. They have multiple layers and no sunlight gets through them, not even on the brightest days. The fabric and color are nice and I love the large loops on top that hold it to the curtain bar. These curtains are far superior to most other brands I have ordered on Amazon. I know some people complain about the price, but this is about the same price I paid for my favorite blackout curtains from Bed Bath and Beyond and they are just as nice if not nicer quality. I just wish they had more designs and colors available.
