These curtains are pretty good IMO. They have nice metal grommets and the material feels decent. Mine are still creased a bit in places from the way they are folded and packed. I sprayed them with water and tumbled them in the dryer for a little bit to try to get rid of the creases, and it did get rid of them a bit, but not totally. Perhaps if I ironed them it would rid the creases completely. I kinda figured they'll unwrinkle over time from hanging and I'm not too worried about it as the wrinkles/creases are much less noticeable now. We'll see. Also, it's only been about 14 dats since they've been installed/hung. Now on to some other info. I bought these because I work nights and live in central Florida, and my room is obviously quite bright during the day. Particularly in the winter months as the sun is to the south in the sky and one of my rooms windows faces the south. I already have horizontal slat blinds that have been installed for almost 2 years now and they cut down some on the sunlight entering, but not that much. Honestly, I don't really have a problem sleeping with the brightness, but my girlfriend does when she comes over and crashes with me during the day, so I figured I'd install some curtains, for her sake. Right now it's about 2:30pm on a sunny day and I took some pics to show the amount of light they cut down. I have the grey ones and they definitely cut down the light a ton, but they are not "black out" IMO, but that's fine with me. See the attached photos. One pic shows the curtains closed and also the horizontal slat blinds behind them are closed. Another pic shows with curtains open and slat blinds closed. The last pic shows with curtains and slat blinds open. It is a significant reduction in brightness with these curtains and the slat blinds.

Very nice curtains. They are made very well, they're even and hang beautifully. I was going to get a slightly different color because they had a discount attached but I'm glad I didn't. The peacock color really hits the mark and they're worth the extra few dollars. They're bright and cherry and will compliment a multitude of other bedding colors in my room. This is important to me because I like to change it up often. They definitely feel insulated and keep a lot of cold air out. Also, they do help with some noise reduction - both of these things I wanted. However, I can't say they are room darkening anymore than regular curtains but I didn't buy them for that.

My house is near a major street, and there is a construction project going on nearby, which means I am often jolted awake by the sounds of eighteen-wheelers, dump trucks, huge vehicles hauling excavators, etc. thundering down the road, along with the regular car noises. Additionally, the geography around my house causes a wind tunnel on the back side, and anytime there is a storm or cold front, the wind goes howling past, often waking me up in the night. Add to that a neighbor with a monstrously loud AC unit which sits right near my bedroom, and you get a whole lot of noise pollution when I am trying to sleep. After putting these curtains up three days ago, I can attest that I woke up one morning surprised to find that all of my tall potted plants in the backyard had been knocked over, apparently by a wind storm, and I hadn't heard it! I also have not been woken up by any truck noise -- you can still hear them, but the edge has been taken off -- and the regular car noises have been significantly reduced. It's been cold recently, so I haven't been able to test whether it blocks the neighbor's AC unit or not, but the reduction in road and wind noise has been great. I didn't really feel like I needed the light-blocking feature prior to this, but since putting these curtains up, I've really noticed the benefits. I had gotten used to the street lights shining through my blinds even when they were closed, but now I can enjoy complete darkness when I get into bed. They also block out the morning sun pretty well when I wake up (I haven't noticed any light shining through the fabric), though I'm not sure how well they would function as total blackout curtains when viewed from the outside, since I don't really use them for that purpose. Overall, I would recommend these to anyone suffering from living in a noisy neighborhood. I, personally, have benefitted from them, and I think could, too.

I got this last summer during the heatwave. I wanted to try and lessen the sun shine heat coming inside my room and have my portable AC on. It has helped me get better rest, I usually get woken up easily when the sun is up. In the morning if I didn't have my phone to tell me the time, 10am looks like 5am. It's also easy to install with it's large shower curtain type rings. Slides side to side with low effort.

I work nights. So these I have not only recommended but now live by! The keep the room dark so u can get the rest I need! They do what they are supposed to! But they are not weighted or anything, so fans A.C. or opening doors will blow them and let light in. If this is a problem for you like it was for me, find something to tuck them behind or tack them down.

I have use the product around 1-2 year and it was a really great product for the price. I did notice that over the side that face the sun over time will be discoloration but if you put it in the washer that will help restore the color a bit. But most of all great quality material for the price.
