Sheerness: Can definitely see through at night with inside lights on but these windows are 2nd story so not an issue but we would not use them in a bedroom without blinds underneath. Very easy to hem if you need. This pic has one pkg (2 curtains) on each side of the window that are drawn to the sides during the daytime. OBSESSED with these curtains! They are fabulous quality, perfect neutral (ordered taupe) and definitely bring style to the room! Curtains can be so dang expensive but these didn't break the bank while not settling for something I didn't like simply bc of the price. We painted our kitchen & dining room, as we were getting a new dining room table/chairs. I hated our vertical blinds because you either have them open to let light in or close them and it's completely dark. We were looking for sheer curtains that would allow light in, but still give you privacy (neighbors don't need to see what you're doing in your own home). We decided to get 3 sets, 1 for our kitchen and 2 for our larger living room window. We are in LOVE with these curtains! They are sheer enough to brighten both rooms, while giving you the privacy you want. I even asked my hubby to try & peek in from outside to see if he could see anything. I was pleased to learn he couldn't see in. The design is subtle and just the perfect touch for any decor style! The material looks similar to linen, yet it's actually polyester, so you can wash them if needed. These curtains really brighten our home & I highly recommend purchasing them!! I got the black and green geometric leaf pattern curtains. I really love them- they’re beautiful. But the pictures are a bit misleading and I figured they would be. They’re more on the sheer side than semi-sheer.
