These panels allow in some light, which was what I wanted, but they are not "see through" from the outside, which was the main reason I wanted drapes on my French doors. If you want true blackout, these are not it, but the look very pretty and work for me. The fabric is a medium weight and thickness of polyester and has a nice feel to it, almost like a heavy sateen sheet. The tie-backs with the Velcro work well as you can see from the photo. The panels look classy and I'm pleased with them. The price wasn't bad in the first place and after seeing them up, I think it was totally worth it. We hung these with the flat sash rods which are a bit more expensive but they look much nicer than the ones that stick out.

These curtains are such good quality! They are made to where the presenting color is on both sides, not like standard curtains with the back side being lighter or a liner. They look great on our French doors from the inside and outside. When they are not synched in the middle with the included strap, they completely block out all light. Will be buying a set for other doors soon!

The price is great on these. The quality is excellent, they only issue is that when I removed the label on one panel, a hole was exposed. This label was sewing into the seam so when I remove it, a hole appeared, but that was one panel, the other is just fine. These are thick fabric, but compared to my other blackouts, these are not as thick or have extra material to be true blackout, but I got the color gray and since these are a bit wider than my French doors, I can bunch up the fabric to really get a blackout effect. I am using these on my study door for privacy and for my purpose, these work great and they look awesome. If I was going to use these on a front door, I would recommend using two panels to get a true blackout.

A simple and elegant solution when you have an over-abundance of sunshine or when you want to have more than window tint. They are definitely not sheer; just the right amount of thickness, IMHO. These curtains (along with a set of easy-to-install curtain rods) were VERY easy to install, and they provided a no-fuss solution to our door that has a long/tall window that faces the sunset during the winter months. I had to iron the lines and a few wrinkles out with a hot iron, so I don't think I would call them "wrinkle-free." However, that took me all of 10 minutes to do. Some prefer to a "bunched-up" look. I decided to go with the narrow panel (36"). I may decide to go with a wider panel in the future... just to see what that would look like. I installed these on the "Amazon Basics Room Darkening Blackout Curtain Rod - 28" to 48", Dark Bronze (Espresso)". Worked like a charm. Bottom line: these are a great choice.

I had to move a minimum amount a few times to ensure it was level and it looked very good. The magnets work very well too. It seems the adhesive reacts to the cold negatively which I noticed caused movement with the sides. It had been used twice over a 10 day period while I was out of town and I came home to it slumped over the doorway. Truly a bummer because it does keep the cold out when working properly.
