  • Great spark plugs for me
I had originally bought bosch platinums spark plugs and although I noticed good gas mileage with these I did notice a decrease in power from the ones I originally had, which were NGK's. There is a right way to do spark plugs and its all about what you want out of them. I am not a mechanic but I do know that the type of metal a spark plug has will give a certain type of spark. In my experience, Platinum has given me good gas mileage and but these copper NGK's that I decided to try out gave me a very noticeable power difference, perhaps because of a stronger spark than the platinums. I am not saying Platinum doesn't work well, but for my driving experience I enjoy these NGK's. It also depends on the type of car. I have a 2000 Subaru impreza 2.5 rs with light mods (headers, catback exhaust, intake) and these spark plugs are literally are perfect for my car. If you drive I Subaru I would definitely check these out. Make sure you get the right kind. If you have a wrx or anything turbo you need to get a spark plug that can handle it. With this said, finding the right one makes a difference. I am not going to say that any manufacturer of plugs is worse than the next, but some work way better on certain cars. ... show more

  • Same part as original in my car, A Quality Plug
My older vehicle had a little over 30,000 miles on the clock since its last spark plug change. I knew my vehicle had standard plugs in it as the dealership had changed them last time. I did some research and found these plugs were the actual part number and item used by the factory of my particular car. I figured the original had to be ok. I did some research on some of the premium spark plugs beforehand that promote special coatings and the like. The best information I found seemed to suggest that the main advantage of those plugs is possibly extended plug life. I decided I'd rather change my plugs more regularly with cheaper, solid quality, traditional plugs. Therefore, at my last service, I installed four of these plugs (4 cylinder engine), identical to the ones I removed. The result? My brain tells me the car runs a bit better, but it could be in my mind. Nevertheless, replacing your spark plugs at an appropriate interval can't be a bad thing, and I think I made the right choice to go with an affordable, original plug for my car. They seem to be solid quality, came undamaged each individually boxed with a plastic protector around the vital end of the plug. Amazon got them to me fast. Not much more to say about them, but a good purchase. ... show more

  • Different color, still same great brand and size.
Wasn't the same color as advertised but anyone who works on cars knows it doesn't matter what color your plugs are. They where exactly as described brand wise. Only thing is I'd update to show these DO fit in a 2003 mitsubishi eclipse GS, I just installed and drove with them today. I already knew they fit so I ignored Amazon's " does not fit " warning. ... show more

  • I always retrofit my small engines with NGK plugs
I choose NGK plugs for price and reliability. They may cost slightly more than some other brands, but the bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten. I have been using NGK plugs since the 1970s, and will continue to use them in the future. If quality is important to you, you should too! ... show more
