Description

VViViD Vinyl is designed for DIY’ers, offering premium wraps with industrial-grade durability and effortless installation. Whether you're customizing your vehicle or working on a professional project, VViViD provides the perfect balance of quality, flexibility, and ease of use. We've been in the vinyl wrapping game for over 10 years, trusted by millions of customers and showcased in world-class car shows. Our user-friendly vinyl wraps are easy to install and come with 500+ hours of video tutorials to help you get started. So why wait? Choose VViViD for your next vinyl wrapping project and experience the perfect combination of quality, affordability, and innovation! Post-heating is a crucial step in vinyl wrap installation that ensures a strong bond, smooth finish, and long-term durability. It activates the adhesive, enhances conformability, minimizes wrinkles, and prevents lifting over time. Heat-setting also reinforces the vinyl’s shape memory, reducing distortion and improving resistance to temperature changes. Forgetting this step risks premature wear and poor adhesion, making post-heating essential for a professional, long-lasting wrap. Post-heating is critical to preventing edge lifting. When vinyl is stretched beyond the edge of a surface, such as a hood, it will attempt to contract back due to its memory. This causes the adhesive to weaken, and the vinyl may pull away from the edge. Skipping post-heating accelerates this process, leading to premature edge lifting. Proper heating ensures the vinyl stays securely bonded, preventing the edges from lifting over time. These are CKWraps' must have tools to smoothly install vinyl wrap. VViViD has all the tools you will need to start your next vinyl project. Prepare your vehicle for a flawless vinyl wrap installation with CK Wraps. The preparation you do beforehand is just as important as the installation itself. Proper prep ensures a smooth application, long-lasting results, and a finish you’ll be proud to show off every time. Always install your vinyl lengthwise to achieve a clean, uniform finish. Most vinyl films are directional — especially matte, satin, and textured finishes — meaning the way they’re positioned affects how they reflect light. Proper alignment ensures a seamless, professional look every time. Hybrid plastisol coating creates a self-healing surface, protecting against swirls, abrasions, and scratches. Heat gun removes most damage. Our solvent-based acrylic adhesive cures in 40-ft evaporation tunnels, ensuring it won’t damage paint and allows repositioning without harm. VViViD’s air-channels vanish over time, ensuring a strong bond that won’t lift, peel, or allow contaminants and moisture to seep in. Advanced UV absorbers and light stabilizers protect against fading, cracking, and sun damage, with new improvements every quarter. How to know what size of vinyl do I need for my project? Measure the longest points of your project, keeping in mind VViViD vinyl is always 5ft wide. Use a sizing chart for reference, buy a little more extra vinyl for errors, and use seams for large surfaces if needed. Can my vinyl wrap survive the winter? Yes! Your vinyl wrap can survive winter with proper care. Use a ceramic coating like FUSE for protection, wash regularly with a vinyl-safe soap, avoid scrapers, and don’t use hot water or high-pressure washers. Park in a garage when possible. What tools do I need to wrap my car? You'll need a heat gun to stretch and set the vinyl, a knife for precise cuts, a squeegee to smooth out air bubbles, buffers for the squeegee edges to prevent scratches, and a tucking tool for clean edges and tight spaces. Why VViViD vinyl wraps are better than paint? At VViViD Vinyl, our wraps are more affordable than paint, fully reversible, and protect your car’s original finish. Unlike paint, wraps resist chips, UV damage, and scratches. Plus, they install faster and offer endless design possibilities! Does this vinyl wrap require a heat gun for installation? Yes, you will need a heat gun as the vinyl's adhesive is heat activated. Heat softens the vinyl which makes it more pliable and stretchable, making it a lot either install. Post heating also contributes to the long term durability of the vinyl wrap.

  • great for diy great for diy
Size: 100ft x 5ft
this is the second time i have used this brand of wrap. first time was the metallic green. i have successfully wrapped 95% of my car and only have the front bumper to do. i was skeptical of the color at first but it looks amazing. having done this twice now i feel it only gets easier to use each time i wrap something. the adhesion isn’t bad but is sometimes tricky on the edges of things. would recommend giving your work surface a good wipe down with a soft soap and water mix followed by wiping it down with isopropyl alcohol. ... show more

  • Easy to use… Color wasn’t right. Easy to use… Color wasn’t right.
Size: 1.5ft x 5ft
Would be 5 stars but the color wasn’t exactly what I thought it would be based on the pictures. Rather than bronze.. this is more of a metallic orange. With that said, the quality of the product was great. The product went on very easy. I had no issues with air bubbles and it was very forgiving. I have never used vinyl wrapping before and I ran into no problems getting it on. ... show more

  • Nice color to go with brown/tan vehicle elements Nice color to go with brown/tan vehicle elements
Size: 1ft x 5ft
My brown canvas convertible top & orange-ish brown interior leather had me scratching my head about what color to use for racing stripes. Until I saw this deep, metallic-flake-enriched color. You can see in the picture that I used it to create Cobra-style dual racing stripes on my hood & trunk. The film is thick & needs heat to stretch. I found it hard (as a beginner) to not overstretch & discolor its finish. So not the best for a true beginner, but now since I've had more experience (did a full car wrap with Avery) I think I would have little problem avoiding overstretching this very nice film were I to use it again. Recommend! ... show more

  • Thick. Tough for a beginner.
Size: 3ft x 5ft
Full disclosure I am a beginner and was doing an odd project. But this material was tough to work with. Pretty thick, was difficult to get around corners and in tight areas. Worked well on flat sections and looked good. Seemed durable. Very thick and didn’t stretch much at all. Could have been user error. I was wrapping a goalie mask, so if you’re looking to do that and also don’t have a lot os experience I would try to find another product. ... show more

Size: 1ft x 5ft
This product is great. I don't have any complaints. Cuts easy. Goes on easy. Once on you have plenty of time reset it if you have to. Get any air bubbles out is easy. Not very stretchy. Once set after 24 hours it's on. No complaints.

  • Dimensions are off/inaccurate.
Size: 6ft x 5ft
Do not rely on the size that you think you are buying. The vinyl that I received was an 1.25 inches short, a margin of error twice the amount I accounted for. I did speak to the manufacturer and was told that it's hand cut and the size can vary so no guarantee you will get an accurate size product.

  • Used it on a Stove hood
Size: 3ft x 5ft
We place this on the hood over my stove. My husband didn't think it would stay because of the steams, heat, etc. But it's been 6 months and it still looks great. Great product and the color is copper, not a very bright copper but very subtle.
