Received today. Had the bracelet professionally sized. Looks and feels like a Rolex Sea Dweller for a ton less money. It’s large and heavy but sits comfortably on my 7.5” wrist. Looks impressive. First the good. This is a beautiful, if heavy watch. Great band, comfortable and attractive with a very good clasp (though it uses pins to resize rather than screws). It even has 4 adjustment positions in the clasp. The case is sturdy and attractive with good finishing. The crown is screw down and feels very solid unscrewing and screwing. The crystal is a thick sapphire and the bezel is a good looking engraved ceramic. The blue face is great looking, things are properly aligned and the lume is quite good, enough to last 4-5 hours and still be visible in a dark room. It even theoretically as a 1000m water resistance (though I'm not certain how much I believe this rating). So why is it not a 5 star rating? Two reasons -- First the movement inside is a Seiko NH35A (I think) and this is problematic since Seiko's "in spec" for this movement is -25 seconds/day to +40seconds/day. I frankly think this is way too inaccurate for a mechanical movement but that's a matter of opinion. In my case though, my NH35A is not in good shape. On the timegrapher (a machine for listening to and evaluating mechanical watches) it shows wildly different accuracies for different positions of a watch -- on face, on back, on crown, crown up, etc. and furthermore oscillates fairly wildly in some of those positions. It also has a higher than normal beat error which tends to indicate a need for a service. Even so, worn on the wrist it managed anything from +20 to +45s/d depending on a variety of factors including whether I wore it all day, whether I placed it on the nightstand or put it in a watch winder, and if I placed it on the nightstand, what orientation I placed the watch. Now since this is probably considered to be within the NH35As spec, the company could have theoretically refused to service it under warranty, but as you'll see, this isn't the problem. Because the second problem this watch had is that there is NO service of any kind or warranty after the sale (except what you might get through Amazon's return policy). Neymar (now called BLWRX) does NOT service their watches or provide any warranty service (or any paid service at all). Two of their 3 email addresses are dead and the last does respond, but does not provide any assistance. Now there are a lot of Chinese watch brands providing amazing watches for very little money (generally under $100 but often as little as $25). Those watches are essentially disposable. You don't repair them unless you personally can do so or you have a contact who can. But this watch, at it's mid $200s price point is priced too high to be a disposable watch. Since you don't know what you're going to get and since often you won't know if you have a problem until you wear it for a while, I can't recommend you buy it even though I am VERY impressed by it's production (minus the movement). Unless you can do your own servicing, I suggest you look for either a Chinese watch under $100 that you're comfortable in disposing of once it dies, OR something that has an actual company ready to service and provide warranty service to their watch. Not all NH35s movements are as bad as mine, some are quite accurate, but it's just a matter of luck, so as Dirty Harry once said, "Do you feel Lucky?" EDIT: I have subsequently purchased a green faced one which is better behaved on the timegrapher. Still not a greatly accurate watch, it's acceptable at +20s/d which is about in the middle of Seiko's -25 to +40s/d range. Also it's not wildly oscillating or wildly unadjusted (which means very different on every position of the watch -- face up, face down, crown up, and so on). Again, it's really up to luck. UPDATE 12/30/19 After wearing it a while, the green one has an actual decent NH35A movement that isn't too positionally unstable and seems to lose only a few seconds a day now which is way better than the first one. The original is still sitting at the watchmaker in England (only person I found who would look at it) and I hope it will work better when I get it back. In the meantime, it seems a very well made watch (better than Seikos at more than this price) but the only problem is the total lack of support by Neymar/BLWRX. So look them over carefully and make sure they work and if not return them through Amazon. But if you're OK without support, you get a lot of watch for the cash. ... show more

The Neymar 1000m is an outstanding saturation diver watch. The movement, bezel, crown, crystal, and case are all perfectly designed and engineered with no obvious QC issues. The dial is clean and legible even in very dark water. The colors of the dial (black, green, blue) are vibrant and aside from the thickness of the case can be worn with a dressed up outfit. It’s not an homage watch, it’s an original design with design elements borrowed (e.g., the Mercedes hand). The escape valve is automatic for those saturation diving. For its price this is one of the best deep water diver value out there. The built is tank-like, this watch can take a lot of abuse. It’s a real tool watch that looks like a dress watch almost. Some divers prefer quartz movements, this is an automatic watch if that matters to you. The bracelet is fine, neither the best nor the worst. The watch looks great on a NATO strap (22mm) despite its heft. You can get three of those, in each available colors, for less than a grand. I believe they make them in two colors as well for those into blink. I haven’t had any water penetration issue and because it’s an automatic movement you never have to open up the case and risk to compromise tte seal. Only the Invicta Grand Diver and some Deep Blue watches offer comparable values but the Invicta is not saturation (300m water rating) and the Deep Blue Alphamarine is only a comparable value when heavily discounted (which it is on occasion on the Deep Blue website). In summary, an outstanding watch and an outstanding value from a Chinese company. The 300m Neymar, an homage to the Tudor Blackbay, is very good as well and not as big for those with smaller wrists.
