    • My hair oil search is over!!
I have tried many hair oils, from high end to drugstore. they were either too thick and heavy, and they also had a strong perfume smell to it . Each and every single one of them always broke my scalp out ( even the one my hairdresser would use on me). So indecided to try the Nexxus hair oil because i am familiar with the brand . I have used their hair mask in the past and loved it. So i decided why not… omg!! My search has ended!! It has a nice pleasant smell to it, not overpowering at all, the oil is nice and lightweight, it does not weigh my hair down. It dries instantly so no greasy residue, it tames my frizz for days, my hair is left so soft & bouncy, it even has a healthy, silky feeling to it. I absolutely love this hair oil. I have long, fine hair, that is very frizzy. It helps smoother and moisturizer without looking greasy or weighed down. And the smell is divine.     • Not right for my hair a bit too oily looking.
Why did you pick this product vs others?: It was a bit too oily for my grey/brown hair that is thinning in some spots. I used a green pea amount worked across my palms and then run through my slighly damp hair with air drying. My hair is below shoulder length and has a very very slight wave. I personally didn't love the scent bc I'd rather choose a scent to wear daily than be stuck with one bc it's already in my hair product. My son has 4C type hair so this might be better suited to his hair. This actually made the pepper part of my " salt and pepper " hair look considerably darker and a bit oily/ greasy/unwashed but did give my white /grey hair the shine that I needed to keep it from looking so drab and dry. I've just used this product for the first time. I absolutely LOVE it!! I'm 81 years old and my hair is quite healthy. This product gives it shine and makes it silky smooth. I think I'll be able to go an extra day without shampooing. I'm so happy I decided to try this.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Love this hair oil. Have bought many times for me and my daughters' hair. She is 5 and sleeps with her hair wet. When I put this oil in her hair she wakes up with no crinkle's wrinkles or knots.

    • I ❤️ This Stuff! Not slimy/greasy like so many are.
While one would think it would effect greasy or oily looking and feeling hair based on the ingredients, it does not. It seems to be quite lightweight and I think the best way to describe the effect that it has is to say that it provides a "slip" to my curls that make them bouncier and shinier and seems to protect against frizz. What I especially love about this product is that, unlike so many of the other products on the market (like ALL of them!) I've found to be just rather greasy, if not done right slimy, and they attract dirt/dust. While they might make one's hair look nicer for the first few minutes, after just a little while it seems that shiny frizz is produced that attracts dust or dirt. That doesn't happen with this product. YAY! My favorite way to use it is to put three squirts into my dollop of hair conditioner after shampooing. I use Clairol Herbal Essences Rose Hip Conditioner after shampooing with Johnson's Baby Shampoo. YES... I have found that with my naturally curly and extraordinarily fine hair that Johnson's Baby Shampoo is the ONLY shampoo that does not cause dryness and other strange things to happen to my hair. Ignore the nonsense about sulfates. They are a NECESSARY agent to lift the oil and sebum and dirt from one's hair especially if it is super baby fine like mine. Because of the fact that oil does not get distributed well through curly hair it does need a little bit of help and that's where this amazing Nexxus product comes in. After rinsing my conditioner and Nexxus oil combination out, I use Nexxus Cashmere Curls Gel Cream on my towel dried hair all by itself. For the top of my hair, which I will either loosen the curl with with a curling brush or a blow dryer, when my hair is almost dry, I mix one squirt of this in with another squirt of the Nexxus Cashmere Curls to protect it from the heat when I am finishing it. It is almost unbelievable how well the two Nexxus products work together. It is an extremely pleasant and welcome bonus that this product smells so amazing too! It is not so overpowering that it will clash with your favorite perfume. It leaves a pleasant, very light scent throughout your hair. I LOVE the smell of the Nexxus Cashmere Curls Gel Cream too but it very rapidly dissipates. When I mix a little bit of this in with that the scent is just very pleasant and seems to last. I keep one bottle in the shower so that I have it handy by my hair conditioner and one bottle with my styling tools. OH! I almost forgot to mention...purely by accident did I discover that it is also wonderful for your cuticles. When I got my first bottle I was so enamored with the scent that I didn't rinse it off of my hands when I first used it and I found myself massaging my cuticles. It softens them and makes them much less noticeable between manicures but doesn't make my hands or fingertips feel oily or greasy. ... show more

    • The Only Product that Works!
A miracle for dry hair. Seriously. I have very dry hair and scalp, and my hair tends towards what they call "Irish curls," half straight and half wavy/curly. It's a mess. I do have nice hair, and a lot of it, and it's a mixture of fine, medium, and coarse, but lately it was so dry that it felt like straw every day. So it was very difficult finding something appropriate, and secondly, NOTHING worked until using this product by Nexxus. It feels like it's completely natural. Most other products just sat on the hair and made the hair really heavy and oily, or else even more dry. Nexxus is the only product I would recommend. I hope they never stop making this and I am going to stock up on this miracle product! The price is also so affordable! This works as well or better than that French brand you hear about all the time, but at a price that is reasonable for everyone. ... show more
