The adhesion is not that good i ended up pinning a lot of spots to keep in on the wall. but the lights work great and are really bright. I use them for a photo booth for products and it works great.

    • Tips they don't tell you
Because there is very little to no instructions, here are things you should know. The lights go on well with the adhesive - speaking of adhesive - the blue tape should be pulled off as you apply the lights to your wall/cabinet. DO NOT pull off the blue tape WITH the white adhesive like I did. You should only see blue when you pull it off, front & back of blue tape. If you use the connectors (sold separately), you can only do right angles, going right, with the + on tape & the (red) wire facing up/outside on an outside corner. Red wire is longer than black, so you can't bend it any other way. This makes it challenging, if, for instance, your outlet is on the left side (looking into a closet) and you have to have a right angle go left to continue across the inside top, and same coming back down. (OK if your outlet starts on the right side). You'll have to do some figuring out on how to make the turns and connections before you start installing. ... show more

    • The instructions are misleading, but good product once you figure it out.
Two gripes about this product; the adhesive strip is only so so. I ended up simply using a hot glue gun to assist where needed. No issues afterwards. The big issue is the instructions call for a four-wire elbow connection (sold separately) if you’re going to put the strips into tight corners. The problem is, this particular strand (white only) is just a TWO WIRE connection. Took an additional week to get the proper parts, but once that was figured out the install was smooth. Now my dark kitchen has under cabinet lighting all the way around, and it looks amazing. ... show more

We needed some bright lights for the pantry my husband just built during our remodel. Lights are perfect. Super bright. When hubby installed them, he attached them to the wall went around the door opening and wrapped back around. Only thing I noticed is that where the lights turn a corner, they don't adhere completely, and so what happened is, the part that's near the corner that's laying flat, begins to lift. I can live with that. Every so often I just go in there and lay it as flat as I can. But overall, they're bright which os what I needed. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I needed to cut these into little sections to place two strips on the bottom of each shelf. There are copper tabs along the way and, if you cut there, you can solder jumper wires and connect all the little strips together either in series or in parallel. I'm running it off a battery (didn't use the dimmer) and a microswitch that turns on the lights when the pantry door opens. SWEET! ... show more

These are very bright for as small as they are. I used them in display cabinets, since the light is located on the top it rarely will reach the items on lower shelves do to the items above blocking the light. These straps run down the length of the case providing light for the entire unit. These can be cut into custom lengths. A little wire and solder i was able to "jump" the middle support and continue the strip to the bottom half. Very pleased. I'm just disappointed that there's none available on Amazon currently. The old saying comes to mind, check before installing.....These light are claimed to be dimmable, unless I got a bad transformer they do not dim, only found 2 "blinking" modes. If I had known I would have returned but already installed so I will deal with it I guess.
