Not sure what I was expecting, but this was my first purchase for these types of "grips." This is a new system so I'm still learning the ins and outs. The first thing I noticed is that if decide to use the knuckle straps, you have to sacrifice the security of the safety straps that are attached by default. Maybe it was because I have larger hands, I could never get the straps to fit comfortably around the front of my hands. I had to loosen them to jockey around around into a good position which left them slack off my knuckles. This resulted in me dropping one when I opened my hand. After that, I decide to modify the kit so I could still use the factory straps and the knuckle straps. I noticed on the bottom of the sleeve there was molded handle that was not used for anything. I was able to thread the strap "peg" through one of the holes on the knuckle straps to attach it. This didn't do much for my fit issues, but being able to use the original straps in conjunction with the knuckles ones made me feel a little more secure. Attaching the upper strap around the ring was easy enough, but I don't see that "rubber" band lasting too long. This could be why they included an extra pair of straps. The texture on the sleeve is nice, but I feel that if it was thicker (on that side) it would be more helpful in maintaining your grip. For those with sweaty hands, it can get a little slippery. Putting the sleeve on was quite easy, until you have to stretch the band around the ring and attach it to the other side. This could present a few issues if you're clumsy or don't have the dexterity to finagle it around. I ended up using a twist as a "threader" to pull the knob through. Overall - I don't feel that this was worth what I paid for it. There are a lot of similar packages out there below the $20 mark which is where this feels "quality-wise." Instructions could also be better. There is nothing in the box (which was very small and everything was crammed into, almost to bursting), but are in the description area on the product page. ... show more

Quality was great. The grip felt good. But I felt like my hand was being pushed up the handle way too much, I had to loosen the straps to not feel like that but then that got rid of the purpose of knuckle straps.
