We actually found this a bit heavier than we anticipated, but with our low temps this winter, but we did enjoy being warm and cozy. I also have a mattress warmer on my side of the bed and instead of setting the temperature at 8 I can now set it at 3 and it kept me warm all night. I doubt that we will be using this year-round. The dogs and cat seem to approve of the new addition to our bed. Price is very reasonable, and I wouldn't hesitate buying another one for our guest room. Just wish they had more colors to choose from.

Soft, lightweight, doesn't irritate my skin. I have very sensitive skin and I'm allergic to disperse blue dye for anyone else shopping with that concern. This isn't stifling, surprisingly breathable. I love the red, it's as pictured beautiful, bright red and clean solid black. No harsh chemical smells. Easily one of the best things I've ever found on Amazon. It's held up to gentle washing and the red hasn't gotten darker (use color grabbing sheet with laundry but sometimes bright reds get darker or kinda dingy looking when washed with dark colors anyways).
