This is the third vehicle I've put Nexen brand tires on. I put them on both my Subaru's. And now onto my 1986 Ford E-150 Van. The South Koreans have slowly been gaining a good reputation in tires. They make good looking tires. And ride well and wear well too. Nexen have good tire tread warranties and from what I read they go the distance. I've not been running them long enough to say. About 3 years is as long as I've had mine on the other two vehicles and we don't put a ton of miles on our cars. These particular tires have a good rep for handling in the slick rain and that is all I want. I can give up some life if they handle the rain well. Time will tell. I would have liked to put on the more aggressive Roadian ATX, but they didn't offer them in the size I needed.

We have been shopping around looking for the best deal for tires on an old-new SUV ('07 Suburban) we recently purchased. We don't need top-of-the-line, but we did need something for the 2-season state we live in... something that's daily drivable, but able to adapt to any seasonal weather changes (rain, mud, etc.). After shopping around (Sam's Club, Pep-Boys, America's Tire, even a small shop), we just couldn't beat this deal! We had the local tire shop who mounted & balanced the tires for a reasonable price (we felt bad for not buying the tires from them), so all in all, not bad overall: The total for 4 tires with installation cost the same amount of just 3 tires without installation at a big box store. We've yet to take our vehicle "off road" to test the tires out further, but my husband likes "the overall look" of the tires, and I like that I didn't have to cancel Christmas just to be able to make this vehicle road worthy! The only part I can give as a "Con" is that there's tire rub when I try to make a U-turn, but I think that's a combination of the vehicle and the tires... We're putting a slight lift on the vehicle, so that should help reduce the rubbing. I understand wanting to buy from a big- box store for the warranties, etc., but for how much we spent on these tires, we'll just buy a new one and re-install it if anything happens.

These tires are first class, with a very high-speed rating (these are rated Y, where Z is the highest speed rating), as well as an excellent 300 treadwear rating (100 is the benchmark acceptable rating), a great AA (best) traction rating and A (best) temperature rating. These are all very impressive ratings making this a performance tire at a true bargain price! At $73.46 on Amazon, this was by far the best price on this tire, and one of the cheaper options overall for tires fitting my wheels (235/40ZR18). A true no-brainer. The only mild let down was the shipping which, was unorthodox to say the least. I'm not sure where Amazon sources these tires, but all but two arrived separately over the course of five days. I ordered on Aug. 30, and the last tire arrived September 10 (1 on the 6th, 2 on the 7th, and the last on Sep. 10th). The final tire arrived by the (revised) delivery window deadline. Three of the four tires arrived in boxes, and the final tire arrived bare, shipped with no packaging. My main concern when making this purchase was on the 'freshness,' or date of manufacture of these tires. So good was the price that it made me concerned. This fear was laid to rest upon inspection of the tires, as even the oldest of the tires were made on the 20th week of 2017, or a little over a year old. The newest tire was manufactured on the 17th week of 2018. FRESH! So far the tires ride smoothly, quietly and perform well in both wet and dry conditions. Highly recommended. 4 out of 5 stars only because shipping was scattered and ran longer than the originally announced (at time of purchase) deliver by date, forcing rescheduling of tire installation appointment (also purchased through Amazon).

This is the second set of NEXEN tires that I’ve owned. Installed on my 2014 Nissan Rouge S. The first set lasted about 5 years on country and freeway roads. This set handles so incredibly well. Very sure footed in all conditions. Sure footed. High end tires for an affordable price. I love mine.

Not knowing if a lift and bigger wheels were in our future, we didn't want to spend a fortune on some AT's for our "new" Lexus GX460 (2013). So far, we've done two road trips, and one off-road excursion. The tires performed flawlessly. On-road traction and noise level were better than I expected. We just took the truck up an old mining road, and these tires had no issues with the VERY rocky path. We climbed this very steep mountain with absolutely no loss of traction. Between the truck and the tires, what could have been a dicey drive was a breeze. If these last us for a while, then I'll be beyond pleased. The low price allowed us to buy 5, so we've got a matching spare (which we'll work into the rotation, extending the life of them). My only complaint was the buying process; we had them shipped to our local Pep Boys for instillation, but Amazon only allows you to purchase 4 tires at most this way. We had to do a separate transaction for the 5th tire. Not a deal breaker, but a bit of a pain.

I spent way too much time looking for new tires for my 06 Ford Explorer before settling on these ones. I was looking for an All-terrain that was more aggressive than my worn out All-seasons, but didn't need mud tires or something that made a lot of humming on the highway. I decided to increase tire size from stock for the look and ride height. I occasionally go off-road, so wanted something that could handle some dirt/mud/snow and seemed durable. These fit great and seem like their high quality. The tread pattern is nice and seem to handle well in rain, snow, and mud without making any noticeable noise on dry roads. I've only had them installed for a few months, so I cannot yet speak to durability but I would be surprised if they wear out prematurely based on the material and sidewall construction. I wish I would have just bought these the first day I started looking for tires.
