Description

With the Nexen Roadian A/T Pro RA8 on your SUV, you can go pretty much anywhere you like. Take that bumpy dirt road – the tread resists picking up gravel and protects against damage from rocky obstacles. Don’t worry about rain, mild snow, or even a little ice – microgrooves in the tread help keep traction consistent and reliable. And a wide shoulder block adds stiffness and stability for solid off-road performance. New Roadside Assistance Program offers free on-the-spot tire changes for three years. The Nexen Total Coverage Warranty now includes a Road Hazard Replacement Program that replaces a tire if damaged under normal wear for one year or first 2/32nds of wear

  • These are a very well made tires. Adds to the safety of your vehicle.
Size: 265/65R17
This is the second set of NEXEN tires that I’ve owned. Installed on my 2014 Nissan Rouge S. The first set lasted about 5 years on country and freeway roads. This set handles so incredibly well. Very sure footed in all conditions. Sure footed. High end tires for an affordable price. I love mine.

  • Great tire especially for the money!
I live in the midwest and after a harrowing experience pulling my enclosed snowmobile trailer to the Northwoods of Wisconsin, I decided it was time for new tires. I was down to these or the DynaPro ATM's. I chose these based on price, the fact that I had owned a set of these for a different vehicle years ago and liked them, and I didn't want my truck to look like a heavy duty truck since it is my daily driver as well. The tires came a week earlier than anticipated (by Amazon's schedule). Tires mounted up and balanced well. Date code showed that these tires were made only 4 months before I purchased them so they aren't old left over stock. They run true and quiet. Had my first snowy weather to drive in today and drove 55 in a couple of inches of snow with it in 2 wheel drive with no issues. My fuel mileage may have dropped slightly since installing these but it's only fair since these are an open tread A/T tire and my old ones were mostly worn out hard compound H/T's. You can feel a little difference in the rolling resistance but that's going to happen if you want a tire to keep you out of the ditch in the winter. ... show more

  • Best deal at the time, and good quality.
Size: LT30X9.5R15
Price increased within minutes after my order, so I guess I got lucky. Tires are as expected because I've used this brand, size and style before. Sidewalls don't fall apart before the tires are used up like brands from CN. New tread depth is deep 1/2". Used on the rear of a 3/4 ton pickup with varius loads. Traction is good in sand and loose dirt, esp. if air pressure is reduced. Tires run quiet on pavement and don't squeal if they slip under power. ... show more

Go ride with better gas mileage. Not the best in deep snow and ice.

  • New, quality tires from a reputable manufacturer, great price! Tires arrived at separate times. New, quality tires from a reputable manufacturer, great price! Tires arrived at separate times.
Size: 285/60R18
These tires are first class, with a very high-speed rating (these are rated Y, where Z is the highest speed rating), as well as an excellent 300 treadwear rating (100 is the benchmark acceptable rating), a great AA (best) traction rating and A (best) temperature rating. These are all very impressive ratings making this a performance tire at a true bargain price! At $73.46 on Amazon, this was by far the best price on this tire, and one of the cheaper options overall for tires fitting my wheels (235/40ZR18). A true no-brainer. The only mild let down was the shipping which, was unorthodox to say the least. I'm not sure where Amazon sources these tires, but all but two arrived separately over the course of five days. I ordered on Aug. 30, and the last tire arrived September 10 (1 on the 6th, 2 on the 7th, and the last on Sep. 10th). The final tire arrived by the (revised) delivery window deadline. Three of the four tires arrived in boxes, and the final tire arrived bare, shipped with no packaging. My main concern when making this purchase was on the 'freshness,' or date of manufacture of these tires. So good was the price that it made me concerned. This fear was laid to rest upon inspection of the tires, as even the oldest of the tires were made on the 20th week of 2017, or a little over a year old. The newest tire was manufactured on the 17th week of 2018. FRESH! So far the tires ride smoothly, quietly and perform well in both wet and dry conditions. Highly recommended. 4 out of 5 stars only because shipping was scattered and ran longer than the originally announced (at time of purchase) deliver by date, forcing rescheduling of tire installation appointment (also purchased through Amazon). ... show more

  • Good value for the money.
Size: 275/60R20
We have been shopping around looking for the best deal for tires on an old-new SUV ('07 Suburban) we recently purchased. We don't need top-of-the-line, but we did need something for the 2-season state we live in... something that's daily drivable, but able to adapt to any seasonal weather changes (rain, mud, etc.). After shopping around (Sam's Club, Pep-Boys, America's Tire, even a small shop), we just couldn't beat this deal! We had the local tire shop who mounted & balanced the tires for a reasonable price (we felt bad for not buying the tires from them), so all in all, not bad overall: The total for 4 tires with installation cost the same amount of just 3 tires without installation at a big box store. We've yet to take our vehicle "off road" to test the tires out further, but my husband likes "the overall look" of the tires, and I like that I didn't have to cancel Christmas just to be able to make this vehicle road worthy! The only part I can give as a "Con" is that there's tire rub when I try to make a U-turn, but I think that's a combination of the vehicle and the tires... We're putting a slight lift on the vehicle, so that should help reduce the rubbing. I understand wanting to buy from a big- box store for the warranties, etc., but for how much we spent on these tires, we'll just buy a new one and re-install it if anything happens. ... show more

  • Good A/T tire. Less mountain than road oriented. Discontinued.
These are good everyday tires that can also take you out into Death Valley at 120f to visit seldom traveled roads to amazing places. They are good for sand. We have forded streams, run jagged rocky trail at speed and climbed ravines. If you can still get them try to get the 8 ply ones. We bought 2 to replace a pair on the rear that were damaged. If you are thinking of crawling rocks or mud bogging then go for something with bigger treads. ... show more
