I installed this on a 1998 SR5 Tacoma 4x4. The rubber is flexible and nearly an 1/8 thick very much like the original. For me it was a perfect fit ... GREAT product for about 20.00 delivered. Hope it works for you too!

So i bought this for a 00 limited 4runner and it's not the right part, i didn't open the hood to check first. Totally my fault, but i live in the land of toyota's and this fits my friends tacoma. Part looks durable and i don't see why it wouldn't last a good while, if yours is cracked and leaking you'll notice the difference.
