This little thing is perfect to be able to use my rear camera (better quality) and still see my shot, especially when I have the phone on a hard to access place for the best shot. This is an android galaxy s21 and it connects flawlessly with the quick cast function built into androids. The battery on the device doesn't seem to beefy, but I use battery banks when shooting anyways so this isn't an issue. I just leave it plugged in when not using it actively. I haven't completely tested the battery when casting from my phone so I can't give an accurate estimate on how long it'll run, but certainly more than an hour. PS, the device is mavnatized so you can easily use any magsafe mounts you ha e laying around, and it comes with a phone mount that will clip to your phone and is magnetic in the back allowing you to attshc the device to the mount easily. However, if you're like me and had a spare mag safe (or in this case an old pop socket style magnet mount that works perfectly) you'll be able to mount it anywhere you can place your mount! Super handy! Only thing that would make it better is touch screen controls, but honestly for the price and value here this is perfect. No wifi required - it connects to wifi to set up and then you're off to the races to quick cast anytime you want (the phone mine is connected to is a spare phone and wasn't even connected to the wifi during this photo)

I didn't think I would find this thing very useful but it did come in handy recently when I was recording some videos. I am a little disappointed that plucking in a USBC and connecting it to a Samsung phone does not work. It says error, not compatible with this model when you plug it in regardless of which port you use so not sure the point of those ports if I can't use them to connect to my phone. But as long as you have 30 frames per second on your video shoots the wireless connection isn't bad. Would be great if I had connected via Bluetooth as well..

My main concern was ease of connection between different devices. I have both an Android and an iPhone and it connects easily to both. Quality of the image is perfect for my use. I do wish the battery lasted a bit longer though.

This device works perfectly because it uses Smart View (mirror screen) feature already installed on your phone to wirelessly connect to your phone. It's simple to install, small, lightweight and easy to use.

Works pretty well if you're doing short videos. But I noticed that it can lag or glitch if you are using it to mirror video for longer than 5-10 minutes

The magnetic is soooo weak it does not stay on the phone. The picture quality is poor. Not worth it.

I tried this on a newer and older phone, and it doesn't work. I even borrowed a friend's iPhone to see if it would only work on a iPhone and it still doesn't work.
