This is just what I needed for transfer from my 30 gallon storage to smaller containers around the farm. This sets up easy enough and is very reliable so far. I have the usual array of battery operated pumps that work with no real regularity. Battery connection issues seem to be the most prevalent problem I encounter. This alleviates that. Nice even strokes with measurable discharge so you know how much to fill. The timing on electric pumps took some finesse. This is a whole lot easier. Most of the required fittings are there depending on your drum or barrel bung sizes. I have adaptors about so it wasn't an issue. The construction is reasonable for the cost and a good alternative to electric pumps. I have fine brass or bronze screen I affix to the end of the suction to avoid entraining debris that can clog or cause wear to most of my pumps. Try that. The only electric setup that works every time is one I built that uses a 12v fuel pump on a board with light jumpers to a vehicle battery. The only complaint is one that rides with most every commercial pump is that the corrugated hose has to be given time to drain and almost doesn't completely so you need a rag or container to catch the drips.

This lever-action drum pump has been incredibly useful out in the shop — it works great and makes moving mobile one for doing our vehicle oil changes and it also makes buying bulk fluids way less of a hassle to manage. The lever action feels smooth and sturdy, and the corrugated hose gives enough reach without kinking. Pumping a pint per stroke is impressive for the size, and it’s built to handle heavier fluids without feeling flimsy. Easy to use and a real time-saver when you’re working with big drums. Although it’s constructed entirely from plastic, it feels sturdy enough for regular use. Since it doesn’t require electricity, it can be placed and used in a variety of locations, which adds flexibility for farm use. The pump is rated for multiple fluids, including water and diesel, which broadens its usefulness. At this price point, having more than one on hand is reasonable. Based on initial handling and intended use, it appears to offer good value.

This works, take my review from someone used to using "probably the best" fill rite brand $250+ drums pumps out there so anything is probably going to be a downgrade, but this works pretty good either way. It doesn't leak, you can pump the handle slowly, doesn't need a fast action to get the oil to flow and operates quietly. Used to pump 5w30 weight oil out of a 55g drum and it worked well. Needs a little extra force on the handle but maybe im just in a rush usually.

This pump feels solid and does what it’s supposed to do without much fuss. The lever action moves fluid quickly, and the pint-per-stroke claim feels accurate in real use. It handles thicker oils without bogging down, which is the main reason I picked it up. Ease of use is good once it’s assembled, though initial setup takes a few minutes to get everything seated correctly. The larger size plastic construction is sturdy enough for regular use, but it’s still plastic, so I wouldn’t abuse it or leave it exposed long-term. Overall quality is good for the price, and it’s a practical solution if you’re moving fluids out of large drums on a semi-regular basis.

I've been through 4 battery powered pumps this year, transferring waste oil from a 55 gallon barrel to buckets as needed. The slightest gunk or trash in the barrel seized or bogged down the electric motors. This seems to be a quality pump and has done a great job for me this fall. I'd prefer that the hose be of higher quality as the pump seems much more solid, while the hose is thin and cheap feeling. If I can replace the outlet hose, then I imagine this pump will last for years on the farm.
