I needed a larger size, but used this for now. Having arthritis in my lower back, I was unable to walk without use of a walker. I put this on and was immediately able to stand and walk on my own! At 76, and in otherwise excellent health, I am thrilled with the return to normalcy! I really did like this back brace in the beginning. I have scoliosis basically in my hips making me very short waisted. This comes up to my bra line. I am only 5 feet tall. This felt good at first. I liked the supportive metal piece in the back. As I was wearing it the whole thing sort of wrinkled crosswise. Which was fine. Until the metal piece began crawling out of its pocket and unhooking my bra. Not fun at work. Not everyone is 5'7" tall!
