What can I say... The product headline reads "NEW" as the first word and then "Renewed" as the last... A little misleading? I did not expect a brand-new device, but I did expect something that looked and felt brand new. Mine was not. It came in a plain brown box wrapped in bubble wrap with a generic low power charger and cheap USB-C cable. No bumpers were included as a "NEW" device would have. In fact, it had the remnants of a hastily applied clear screen protector (not the new device film you have to peel off when you get it) on one outer side and an absolutely filthy edge around the USB-C plug and the fingerprint reader, and remnants of adhesive from the previously installed bumpers. So filthy that even a Clorox wipe couldn't get rid of the brown that had clearly stained it. I guess I should be happy there were no cracks or dents and the plastic around the USB-C plug was intact (a very common issue for these) and it worked with my T-Mobile SIM card right out of the box. There weren't any scratches on the screens and the device did eventually power on after charging for about 10 minutes. For the price and getting a 256GB, unlocked device, I'll keep it and use it. I'm severely disappointed about the bumpers not being included though, since they are hard to come by and cost a whopping $35+ to replace. ... show more

    • Replaced My Original Surface Duo...
Had to have it... 🤨 I'm addicted to my original Surface Duo - "a Microsoft pre-purchaser" when they were first launched. Original bumpers gave out late last year, preferred handling my Duo without them, but... the slippery gorilla glass (when folded back) allowed it to slip of a patio cushion, drop 3 feet and bounce off the pool deck. Amazing, other than a scraped corner at the hinge, no other visible damage. 24+ hours later, although it functioned perfectly the main screen started to show a small crack along an edge after opening and closing it several times. Over the next couple days, a few more cracks continued to appear. Microsoft repair service is $650+... this replacement at $500, which still includes a MS warranty is a no-brainer! And arrives with all the original package accessories so I have new bumpers. ... show more

Wasn't expecting much from a renewed set, but was pleasantly surprised when I received the surface duo. Could not find any noticeable flaws on the hardware. Original Bumper and charger/cable were included as well. Received it on the day Android 11 was released.
