Seller was very cooperative and understanding for return and refund. They offered to replace the order. This are not to be confused with quick start charcoal ! All these type cubes regardless of brand have to be pre-soaked in a liquid starter medium in order to get them to light and stay lit. The raw charcoal out of the box is dead. They have such a high ignition point it requires a high heat level and costly flame or electric source just to get them to start to glow. They won't burn on their own unless pre- soaked in a ignition accelerant like lighter fluid or alcohol etc. Tume consuming though. ... show more

There is absolutely no taste and it burns slow. I've been using coco nara and I didn't realize it has a bad taste until I tried this coal. I used coco nara after I used this and there is definitely a coal taste with coco nara. I never even realized it until I had something better.

These coals don’t give off any weird flavors and I this is the second time I’ve purchased them because it’s cheaper than buying from a smoke shop. HOWEVER, I just find that after years of experimenting, Flare coals simply work the best! They last the longest by far.
