To honor their warranty, they reached out to me to rectify the situation and offered to provide me with a new replacement burner, free of charge. This showed me they truly care about their customers experience and stand behind their product. As I mentioned previously, the burner was great, it just stopped working after a short period of time. People here have mentioned longevity of this coal starter. For the price, it was a no brainer. It does seem to be deteriorating especially on the surfaces that heat up, but for how long I've been using it I've been surprised at the quality. Definitely does a better job than my stove top. Everything is great except the the handle is heavier than the top coal plate. So if you leave the handle attached to the coal holder it will tip over.

I like this coal stove, it is very safe. They made the sides go up pretty high so I am not worried about any coal falling. I took away one star for the handle. I love that its removable but idk if it's safe enough.
