Update April 28, 2021- Over 3 years later still no issues on my 04 expedition xlt. Seeing how it's now $104 now I got a great deal back in 2018. I have zero complaints. Update November 17, 2020- It's still going strong and at the time I bought it the price was 59.75. I would recommend this. Update- I wanted to do a 3 month follow up to my review. The Alternator is still running strong with no issues at all. I will buy again if I need another one down the line. This fit my 2004 Ford Expediton perfet and took me less than 15 minutes to put in. No issues with power at all. I like that they send you the test record also. This saved a ton. Auto Zone a refurb was 200 and brand new 240. I've had it over a week and have put many miles on it. I've put over 400 miles on it and no issue so far. Plus you get a 1 year warranty and you can purchase a 2 or 3 year extended warranty for cheap.

I bought this same brand and everything 7 years ago because it was what I could afford. I recently purchased my second due to wires shorting the last one out, well I paid a quarter of the big company stores and it is definitely worth it. No issues installing, pretty straight forward and highly recommend.

Just installed this in a 2004 Ford Expedition 5.4L. Easy enough to DIY for this overweight and lazy computer geek in 100+ weather (The sweat is real). So far voltage reads ~14.22v and no issues when driving aggressively (to make sure belt or alt would break on me before I hand it over to the GF) with AC blazing and music blaring. I will update my review if the situation changes, however so far looking like a solid product and very aggressive price (~$200 for remanufactured Alt at AutoZ and ~$240 for new). Other notes not important to this seller or item. Be careful when attempting to jump with your car, it is not meant to jump other vehicles, if done improperly you can damage your car or another, our alternator "just so happened" to go out after jumping my gf's aunts vehicle, get a jumper box for those uses. As I leave this comment amazon still thinks its out for delivery, lol.

Good replacement, voltage is a bit on the lower end but it's within tolerance. Package was sent with no protection which resulted in being gamaged on arrival (unmountable). Amazon issued a replacement but got delayed for a few days, so I lost about a week before I was able to install the unit. Second unit was also shipped without much protection other than a cardboard box but arrived undamaged this time. Overall a good purchase if you can get yours undamaged, but your mileage may vary due to the packaging used to ship these alternators.

This was purchased for a 2004 Ford Expedition with a 5.4L motor. The first box shipped from Amazon was mislabeled and contained a different alternator (not one for a 5.4L Ford). After a quick online chat with Amazon Customer Service they had a replacment on the way - arrived next day. Part was installed with a perfect fit for a 5.4L Ford. Connections are 100% correct. Performance is better than expected and maintains 14.42 Volts at idle. This unit supports the truck in full use mode (all lights, radio, all other electrical running) with no issues. For the price and the function this can not be beat. Also no core charge...just order, install, drive. Thanks Amazon for your amazing customer service support.

Lasted 1.5yrs. So 6months outside the return under warranty range. Very disappointed. We live on a fixed income due to veteran disability & now will have to come up with $ again.

I don’t mind changing alternators our on a Ford 4.6L. Even with an unorganized tool box I had it done in just over 25 min. The alternator itself was in perfect condition and was here in less than 20 hours. This is the second one I’ve ordered but, not for this vehicle. I put one on my mustang and it’s still going nearly 2 years later.
