Looks nice and we'll made only problem I'm having that's keeping me from installing it is that it's slightly larger then my original one and my serpentine belt won't fit now I have to go get a bigger size. Other problem I had was with the delivery they keept pushing back the arriving date so had to go drive 25 minutes to go pick it up. Update: been couple of months now and this thing works phenomenal. My voltage always used to drop because of my system even after the big 3 upgrade and with this it reads alittle past 14v but the lowest its dropt has been to 13/12v has been working really well... Worth the price Update#2 2 yrs later and still going strong havent been disappointed at all works just as it did when i first installed it. Definitely recommend, i Will get another if i have to.

First quality new 145 amp alternator at about half the price of buying locally. I bought it to replace the failed 105 amp one on my friend's 2004 Avalanche. It's very robust and well built, quiet, and does the job flawlessly. Included a printout that listed final test numbers from the factory, a nice touch that shows extra effort on the part of the manufacturer. I will definitely look for the DB brand again. It arrived with a broken charge output stud due to careless packaging (not DB's fault), but I was able to repair it with a piece of all thread I made from an appropriate metric bolt that I had on hand. I opted for overnight shipping, which was an extra $14 and well worth it to get the vehicle operational again. I highly recommend this alternator and it's also the best deal I could find on the date of purchase, even cheaper than refurb units.

I purchased this for my wife's Suburban. It went in without much trouble. Was an exact fit and charged well. Last week my wife calls on her way home from work and tells me that the truck is telling her the battery isn't charging again. The alternator had failed after less than 2 months. I reached out to the manufacturer using their contact form. I have yet to receive a response. Today I attempted to call their customer service line (1pm on a Thursday) and after waiting on hold for 5 minutes, I get told that there are no customer service representatives right now. How is this possible mid-afternoon on a weekday. I'm going to advance auto parts after work and getting a remanufactured alternator. Even if it fails I can go to the store to get a replacement instead of waiting for an email or call that may never happen.

I don't usually post reviews, and I wasn't paid and did not receive anything free. I just needed an alternator. I'm not a professional, and I can't speak to the internals yet, but I've changed a lot of alternators, and this one appears to be top notch. Ordered it Wednesday night, it showed up Friday morning. If anything, it appears to be heavier duty than the original. Looks just like the picture, the case is beefy, solid, and new. The pulley is nicer with larger side rails than the original. This whole thing is obviously new (as advertised) and not re-manufactured. Perfect fit, and it's putting out a steady 15v. No core charge, free shipping with Prime, and cheaper than the re-manufactured econo model at the auto parts store. I'm actually pretty impressed. If you can afford to wait a day or two, I'd certainly recommend giving one of these DB Electrical alternators a try.

I was skeptical because of the really low price, but this is pretty legit. Arrived in 2 days even with free standard shipping. Seems to be very good quality, same or better than the original one. So far works great, and is quiet. Would highly reccomend buying this because it is brand new for a lot cheaper than others that are just remanufactured. Also it came with a test sheet which is reassuring and it comes with a new nut and washer on the back of the alternator which is nice.

Alternator arrived well packaged and in nice shiny new condition. Very pleased We installed this on a H2 hummer the fit was perfect and the alternator fixed our problem. I was surprised at the savings compared to purchasing it at a local auto parts store. Definitely a great value!

FYI, a sign that this alternator is failing is if you see your battery voltage shoot up, or the lights get considerably brighter at high RPM. I've had this since only August 2020. Tonight it failed by causing an overcharging condition, 18 volts or more (my dash gauge only goes that high). I was all set to dive under the car in a walmart parking lot to disconnect the positive wire and zip tie it somewhere so I could get home on the battery, but mercifully, after 20 minutes of walking around Walmart, it completely totally failed! At least I didn't have to call any friends/family or a tow truck! My original GM alternator from 2001 lasted 120K miles, this one didn't even make it 1/6 of that. They say you get what you pay for, I guess I did! Why the hell is it so hard to create reliable voltage regulators?
