Very comfortable and roomy. Good buy for the money, but they will probably stain and it's hard to get the stains out. They have good arch support, are durable and flexible. I recommend getting it in a different color if you can so that it doesn't show the stains as much. New balance is a great brand for anyone who has any foot problems.

Let me start by saying the shoes are comfortable enough. If you are used to wearing standard sneakers and have normal sized feet, you'll probably think these are great. The sole is comfortable (at least so far) and the toe box is roomier than average. For me personally, they're a little snug. I wore "barefoot" shoes for about a year. And while the cushion-less soles eventually wreaked havoc on my knees and sciatica, I got accustomed to being able to spread my toes out when I walked. As a result, regular sneakers cause me no end of troubles with my toes, including rubbing my pinky toe raw because it can no longer handle rubbing up against the interior of the shoe all day. I've gone through a number of brands, including comfort heavyweights like Skechers and Dr. Scholl's, to no avail. I ordered these in extra wide, thinking for sure that would provide me enough room in the toe box to mitigate the rubbing. If these are "extra wide" I'd hate to see what the narrow looks like! These fit more in line with what I'd expect from a normal wide in other brands. They're extremely tight on the tops of my feet and despite having a roomier toe box than other brands still squeeze my toes more than I would like. I'm hoping they just need to be broken in. They still fit slightly better than others I've tried, and the toe box is definitely better than other brands which come to more of a point. I also appreciate that the upper portion of the shoe being 100% leather which will hopefully soften with time so they don't feel as constricting. If there's any change in fit after wearing them for a while, I will edit my review accordingly.

I got these shoes for dental hygiene school. I have flat feet so I got the Wide and it fits and looks great. Super comfortable and stylish. Picture was taken after a few weeks of wear and they are holding up great!

I've had my New Balance shoes now for about 2 weeks. When I first tried them on they were a bit stiff but after wearing them around the house for a few hours the leather started to soften and break in. They seem true to size. I ordered a 9.5 Med width and they fit perfectly. I have a narrow heel and when I initially tried them on out of the box, there was a slight slip in the heel as I walked. I laced the shoes up through the top two eyelets and that took care of the heel slippage, especially after wearing them around the house for those first few hours. They are comfortable and provide good support and cushion from uneven or rocky ground. These are going to be great walking shoes to use on vacation or around town.

These are my second pair of white leather walking shoes by New Balance. They’re very comfortable once you break them in. (They were very stiff at first. Took about a week to break in.) I have a very narrow foot, and they come in a narrow width which is great. I did have to size up one size for the length to fit, but I have had to do that with other tennis shoes, too. My only complaint is the tongue of these pair are not quite long enough. Sometimes my laces and bow are tied against my ankle instead of the tongue. But overall, I love these walking shoes by New Balance!
