I got these for work. The non slip keeps me firm and planted on the greasy floors I deliver to. The water repellent hasn’t let me down yet. The composite toe is way lighter than steel toe. Overall they feel like a running shoe with a protective toe.

UPDATE: After a week or so using a shoe stretcher, the toe box is now wide enough to accommodate my 4E feet. I'm still trying to stretch across the top of the foot, but since the shoe itself is mesh, it stretches enough as it is. This is a size 10.5 EE (wide). I am a 10.5 EEEE (extra wide), so these pinch in the toe box, which is not likely to stretch out since it has a stiff composite toe for safety. I will try to use shoe stretchers and update if it does widen, but for now just know that this is not wide enough for us blessed with flipper feet. The shoe itself is very well constructed. The mesh fabric is quite thick but still breathable. The foam soles seem strongly bonded/glued on and the tread feels grippy. But the tread isn't very deep, so likely not great beyond hard surfaces like cement/concrete, asphalt, wood, and tile. I wouldn't hike on trails or rocky surfaces with these. The composite toe box does feel strong and protective. The grey lime colors match well and the lime trim/accents are very visible and reflective. The laces hold securely and have plenty of length to double knot. Right now, i take one star for the width/fit. Just be aware that this is a 10.5EE and won't work for 10.5EEEE. ... show more

Previously bought New Balance safety shoes and had similar satisfactory expectations only to be greatly let down. Heavy, no cushion and extremely painful. Cannot even wear for more than an hour. Wasted over a hundred dollars.
