I'm not sure what's wrong, but all I get is a stream of water spouting up and no mist. I've tried setting it at several depths from 1/8" under the surface of the water to 1" deep. No mist. Also after a minute, the lights begin flashing off and on. The water spout also stops when the lights are flashed off. The on/off flashing occurs at a rate of about once per second. (A day later...) Back to tell more. So apparently you have to put the thing about three inches under water for it to work (not like the shallow bowl in the photo). It works very well now, making lots of mist. ... show more

    • Water Atomizer that Works Even Though it Feels Flimsy and Cheap
I've had a few of these atomizers, some very heavy good quality and some cheap. This is a lightweight, cheap feeling one but has worked well.

Initially it worked great. I only used it occasionally and when I attempted to use it after only about 5 hours of cumulative use, it had stopped working. Don't waste your money!

    • Pathetic, Worked Only 2 Weeks!
I do not recommend this product as it failed within first two weeks! I’ve been using these for a Dept 56 Water Feature……for over 15 years. So I know they must be fully submerged. This one failed totally underwater. Disappointed not accurate in feeling on this product. Look elsewhere!

I know, I know. "I should never expect anything, for when I place a mail order", is my mantra. But this... I was wanting specifically for my tabletop water fountain. This doesn't work with it, because I cannot submerge it in my fountain. You have to have this device completely submerged for it to work.     • water level sensor makes this one unique
most misters don't have that sensor and it works great! I don't have to worry about ruining the unit if the level gets too low, it simply shuts itself off. all else is exactly as hoped for, but this added feature makes this unit the best one I've had so far.
