Why did you pick this product vs others?: We got one for our upcoming travel— Both plane, and car. Wanted a way to keep our little ones entertained but not worry about clicking the wrong things on an iPad (like we had currently been using). After we ordered one, we came back to order a second one! The battery life is absolutely insane. In a good way! On the days my kid has played (probably more than they should have), the battery was still at like 70%. There’s also soooo many included books and apps and shows you can download. My kid only ever plays on the offline mode and everything is still accessible! I even recommended it to a friend! So kid friendly!!! Not to mention we LOVE the parent app. I can see what has been played, how long, and can set how long they can keep playing. It’s a lot easier to put it away when the games and everything become unavailable due to the parent shut off ;) just get it. It’s great!

My son absolutely loves his Amazon Tablet. He had the last version and wore it completely out so it was time to upgrade to the latest one! Now, my son is 10, almost 11, and Autistic so even though it says for 2-8 yrs, I highly recommend this one for even older kids as its lightweight, easy to carry, has an upgraded, thicker outside case, so I don't worry too much about the drops that occur frequently. This is kid-friendly, you have the option to add your child's profile, or use your own, you can switch from one to the other. Tons of games to choose from in apps store, most are free, and I think we will be buying this brand for a long time to come. It's been 5 years now and I'm very pleased with both his Amazon 8 and 10 Fire HD tablets. Highly recommend! Great price too-can't afford expensive. High quality for the price! The battery last usually the entire day, 8-10 hours it will stay on, so excellent for long road trips!

This is the second Kindle Fire we have purchased for our special needs daughter. I ordered the first one 2-3 years ago as a Christmas present. I honestly had doubts that she would use it, but they are on sale so I decided to give it a try. She has LOVED it...she really took to it and her fingers fly on it. The memory was running a bit low, so I saw they were discounted again so I ordered her a new one. The first one is pink (and I will add, it does still work, so she can actually use both). The new one is blue and a bit larger footprint size but still easy to handle, lightweight, very tough with the case, which is a great thing if you have small children or toddlers who might be a little rough on one. We don't have that issue, but it's nice to know it is so rugged in case our daughter drops it accidentally or something. Very nicely portable, and very educational. There are many kid-related apps available for download and some already installed. It has safety blocks on it to prevent a child from accessing inappropriate material or from downloading apps you don't want them to download. So basically it has the option for two users for parental controls. You can limit screen time, and monitor usage, even monitor remotely. It lasts about 8-10 hours (approximately) on a full charge and it charges quickly. A charger comes with it. 4GB RAM, 64 GB storage, up to 1 TB of expandable memory, 8-inch HD display, wifi-connectivity. You can also watch You-tube videos, download and read books and magazines, games, take and view photos. Very versatile, safe, and will provide hours of fun and learning for children.

We got this for my sons birthday. He is turning 3. In not a big whiz person and I somehow ended up with making two accounts when I was trying to just make it my sons tablet. So now I have to figure out how to fix that but otherwise it works great. We didn’t want the iPad as it has too much I am not ready for my toddler to have and it was way more expensive. This works great and keeps him entertained.

My son loves this tablet he is 2 1/2 and it has a restricted kids as well as an adult side. We can both use the tablet which I love. I used the 6 month subscription and it was nice but now i cancelled it and still like the quality of the tablet. The subscription is not neccessary. We have had this since Christmas. Only reason i took off a star is because i have a hard time still trying to figure out some of the tablet.
