    • The NEW alternator lasted 10 months only!
Gentleman, what are we selling? My old alternator lasted 27 years. The new one 10 month! First, one afternoon, it started overcharging at 16V, and then it was dead, producing about 6 V. I'm not the complaining type, but you must agree, that 10 month is very short time. Because I can not exist without a boat, I had bought another one, right the way, hoping that I'll be lucky and get something of better quality. The alternator was mounted on Mercruiser, 7.4L, carburated. Please let me know if you can help me with some refund. I'm not a millioner, just a boat owner. Thanks You, Karel ... show more
