This alternator drops voltage as driving… lights are going dim just sitting at a red light….. would’ve exchanged within 30 days but got sick and missed window…… not buying anything from this seller again seriously!!! Total waste of money….

This is not a 220 amp alternator. The test sheet that comes with it says 190 amp, and that's at 6000 rpm. I've had it on my Silverado for a few days now and it's staying well above 14 on my volt gauge, even with lights and a/c on. My previous 105 amp alternator didn't seem to perform as well as this unit does so far. ... show more
