Went in no problems. 14.4 volts out. Seems to work fine. Quality is better than the one I took out. Casing, connectors even windings look better. I realize looks don't equal performance but with years on the old alternator I'm expecting this one to work until I stop using the truck.

(2000 Toyota 4runner 5vz v6) Wouldn’t buy again, although it worked and made voltage it was lower then I’d like (13.2-13.6volts) while driving, it definitely had some sort of bearing noise, it also did not fit well,bolt holes lined up fine but the upper mount is slightly too wide and will not easily go into place. I ran it for all of 5 minutes before I decided to go to a local parts store and bite the bullet on a reman alternator. After I installed the AutoZone one I was charging at 14.3 volts and didn’t have any fitment issues. So in summary Might be good if your in a financial pinch but wouldn’t expect it to last long with the bearing noise.

I was hesitent to buy my alternator through amazon, but I was wrong as this unit was easy to replace and it has been working flawlessly since the day I I installed it. I don't need to worry about having a dead battery after leaving my car sit for up to two weeks, starts every time.

Returned a brand new alternator (different brand) from a online parts store because it had a slightly wider pulley, smoked, squealed, and didn’t even charge. This alternator’s pulley has matched OEM and charges at over 14 volts even with headlights and AC on. Took two stars off because the + post didn’t have the locking “slots” OEM had. Otherwise it’s a good part for the price. Going to be selling the vehicle so I just needed something cheap, not high-output.
