    • 2005 nissan Altima 3.5l alternator bad out of the box!
Purchased in June 2022, installed 2/14/2023 project sat for a while. Installed and started. After 30 seconds of running the alternator bearings started to seize up. Shut off checked belt tension and to no avail the bearings are in fact seizing. 30 day return window has long since lapsed. That's my fault. No vendor contact info on page. This product works very well. I was very skeptical of buying this online on amazon because typically you buy it from a car part shop. I must warn you that it is kind of hard to replace this part. Not because of the part itself, but because of the design of the vehicle. I don't really know how it works long-term because I sold my car. That is the only reason I am not going to give it 5 stars.
