Part looks like a direct replacement but quality of assembly creates a serious fitment issue. Had to take a file to some mount points on my car to properly fit this replacement alternator. Due to the fitment issue, there is almost no slack to be able to install the belt on the pulley. Will report back on longevity. This alternator did fit my 2001 Honda Prelude type SH 2.2 L. So if you have a Prelude like mine, this is the perfect alternator and for a good price. I bought it about two weeks ago, on July 2020 but I don’t remember the exact day, bottom line it was worthy the purchase.

It wasn't very easy to install the thickness of the mount needed sanded down to fit into the spot it should have fit in. Still not bad I'd buy again.

Never seen a better example of you get what you pay for!! It worked fine for 2 days but i did notice my battery’s voltage fluctuating a lot. Woke up this morning and on my way to work the battery light starts flashing. I made sure the belt was tight and everything was connected. Had to switch back to an old alternator i had laying around.     • Don't Buy This!
bought this and had to return it. hoping it was just a bad one. ordered another, and it went bad right after the 30 day return. Went to see my mechanic and he said the alternator is causing all sorts of problems for my car. Avoid this alternator. Would give negative star if I could.
