My son was having issues with his 2013 Honda Accord 2.4L and he was losing power at times whenever he turned his wheel hard to the left or right. Finally, he couldn't start the engine. We diagnosed it as a weak battery (which we replaced) but also, the alternator had gone bad. Most alternators at O'Reilly's, Auto Zone, and online wanted around $450-580+ for a refurbished one!...NOT doing it! So, I purchased this alternator on amazon for around $200+ with tax and it's been great! P.S.- I got on youtube and did the installation myself. It took about 5 hours total....1 hour of watching YT vid's and 4 hours to install. ... show more

It seems the description is inaccurate .. I have a 2014 honda accord sport automatic transmission.. But it seems this is alternator is for a manual transmission.... it keeps giving me the " check charge system" warning sign.
