I often buy auto parts from Amazon. The prices are more reasonable and I never had a single problem yet. This alternator was for a 2003 Grand Am. It was easy to put in and fit perfectly.

    • this part only lasted a month and half before the regulator went out on me :(
i had the part brand new in a box because i was waiting on other parts for about 5 months. then i put it in my car and it lasted a month and half and the regulator on it went out.making me lose time and wages with work.

Looked pretty much identical to the one I took off. So it fit perfectly. But however the electrical connector was a little tight. At first I thought it was incorrect and then realized I just had to give it a little more of a push than normal to get the connector on. Installed on my daughter's car it's been working great for the last several months.
