This alternator works exactly as expected. It puts out a consistent voltage at idle (about 13.2) and consistent voltage at higher RPMs (14ish). It was simple to install and didn't give me any trouble at all. Overall a great value!

Direct fit for my 2008 Ford Mustang V6. This baby puts out 14 amps. The one I replaced was only 11 Amps. My battery light in the dash was staying on. Not anymore and quick and easy fix.

Just received and installed this into my 2007 V6 Mustang. Hardest part was loosening the 3 15 year old bolts holding the alternator. But in the V6 Mustang the alternator is on the top easy to work on. Checked with a multimeter and the new one is providing the correct charge to the batter and components. The original one was not. I ordered a new belt but it didn't arrive so i am using the original belt and probably didn't need the new one. You do not have to remove the alternator to replace the belt as there is a pulley tensioner you move with a socket wrench. A good socket wrench is all you need.
