The alternator looks brand new. it was delivered less than 24 hours. and its a couple of dollars cheaper than a lot of the local places. I’m not mechanic by any means but saved myself a lot of money after buying it here and then installing it myself. This fits Mercedes C240 2004, functionally recommendation: when you put the belt back on, start putting the belt on the alternator first and then move into the other places as the edges of the alternator centerpiece is a little bit wider than the original.     • A lot more power than stock, this is a replacement that's also an UP-grade. Good value.
Hey, this works better than I expected in my grandson's old Mercedes Benz. We installed it together in about 20 minutes and the fit was perfect. Correct pulley for the serpentine belt was nice to see, and all the bolt holes lined up to use existing bolts. Plug in for the connection to the ECM harness is exact and clicks in securely. Power lead attaches exactly on the stud and torques down to make a very solid connection with included nut and washer - all sized just right. For the power output, it's a big jump up from stock, and I've never seen the voltage output drop below 14.7 volts as metered right at the alternator, which is a good sign. It's solid and sturdy and should last a long time, making it a great value for this price range with extra power over what the factory provided. ... show more
