I've used this powder daily for so many years, and often pack it to-go for work. I've tried other brands but always come back to this one. So I was really irritated when I opened my new case at work yesterday to touch up, and the sponge was missing. Again. I thought the first time was just a fluke, but I see from the other reviews here it's not. It would have been nice as a long time customer to have a change on the packaging that it's no longer included. I can still find old ones sometimes at a drugstore that include the sponge, so it's a shell game now until the old ones run out, and they're both priced the same. Rude. ... show more

First of all, Neutrogena hasn’t been providing the applicator pad for years now, so that’s not a good reason to give this product a poor review. If you buy it at Target, Walmart or anywhere else it won’t have an applicator either, so just be prepared to provide your own. Or better yet, use a foundation powder brush! It looks even better that way. I’m wearing Natural Ivory 20 here. I was surprised when it arrived because it’s way more pink than the loose powder version in the exact same color. It looks ok once I applied it, but I prefer the warmer undertones of the loose powder option that I bought at Target. It’s very powdery, even over my greasy sunscreen. I find that I need to “set” it with a hydrating spray so my skin doesn’t look so dry and matte. What I like about it? I’ve been using this for years mostly because it doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin, stays put throughout the day, is much cheaper than the Bare Minerals version I prefer, looks less like makeup for casual days than the Bare Minerals version, and has no fragrance. Plus it smooths and minimizes my large pores without clogging them. Great for acne prone skin! ... show more

I've been using this powder for decades. I have normal to oily skin and only need some coverage to prevent looking so oily so I use this foundation powder rather than liquid or cream foundations. I was happy to find that Amazon sells it so I don't have to stop at a drug store as much to purchase since its hard to find my color being darker in complexion. The only complaint I have is that the version sold on Amazon has never included the application sponge that is usually included in the ones I purchase at the store. Although the package they were delivered in appeared to be meant to prevent damage, one of the compacts has pulverized powder in it - making it extremely messy and hard to use. The other compact is in fine condition, thankfully.

I purchased the 2 pack. I've been using this product for years. Although both compacts were sealed, for some reason neither compact included the applicator sponge. The separate compartment underneath the pressed powder was empty. I don't know if Neutrogena decided to stop including an applicator, or if it was an oversight.
