Installed this on a desktop that did not have a wifi card. The separate dock gave me better flexibility on the adaptor rather than have it stick out the front or rear of the PC. Installation took under 10 minutes. Connection has been stable and fast since installation. If you don't have a CD drive the process could be a bit of a pain as you would need to download a driver on a device that does have internet and put the drivers on a USB. My old adapter wasn't really the best, it gave me about 2 bars of wifi from my room 3 on a good day, never hit max. However, this gives me a constant full bar I wifi. Also unlike my old wifi adapter, it does not cut out, so I am given max bars constantly. It also doubled my wifi speed when I tested it. All around a great wifi adapter and definitely worth the price ... show more

The Wi-Fi Adapter works fine out of the box. I experienced no issues when plugging it into my computer. The Wi-Fi range is way stronger than my old adapter, and I saw a big boost in network performance.
