This scent is great! I can't really explain how it really does smell like Moss and mint.. it's almost like a jungly smell with that sweet mint smell mixed. It smells totally legit. When I was trying to figure out what it might smell like when I was reading the description, I really couldn't imagine the smell of moss and mint, but when you get it, and smell it.. you're like. "oh wow, that really does smell like moss and mint" though how the hell I know this is news to me- because before I got it, I couldn't have told you what this would smell like. Somehow though- when you smell it, you realize 1. you love it, and 2. it smells just like Moss and mint **scratches head** ::shrugs:: Just sayin... ... show more

I usually purchase the scented reed diffusers from Pottery Barn but after purchasing a few Nest candles, I decided to try the reed diffuser. I am extremely satisfied and won't by the pottery barn reeds anymore! I bought the Moss and Mint which is surprisingly a very fresh scent not over-powering. I have a dog and this scent works beautifully around my home. I also bought the grapefruit scented reed diffuser and placed in my master bathroom. Another winner - long lasting and strong (not overpowering) enough that the scent flows into the bedroom.... The glass and reeds look nice. The scent was very faint but the oil lasted a decent amount of time. I recommend this scent for a small area if at all. I have to keep turning the reeds

    • Expensive but worth it.
First off, these are expensive. No argument there. However, I think they are worth it and let me explain why. I am in the process of selling my house. I was looking for something that would not be overpowering but would provide a nice aroma as potential buyers walked through the house. I was amazed at how awesome the NEST mint scented diffuser smells. It is very subtle and very faint but is just enough to become the dominant smell for the area. It is a fragrance that stays with the individual for a time as they pass through the room that contains the NEST bottle. Most importantly, it is a very pleasant fragrance. I have bought three of these to place throughout the house. One sits atop my Grandfather clock in the entry way of the house. It is the first smell that a potential buyer encounters and it stays with them as the progress throughout the house. I have one more NEST downstairs and one upstairs. All strategically place so a buyer will pass through the fragrance as the walk throughout the house. I also have the bottles hidden somewhat so it is not obvious to anyone. These diffusers DO NOT cover up unwanted smells so if you are trying to cover up smoke or pet smells these are not what you are looking for. They provide a very faint fragrance in a small area and I mean a small area. Do not expect to smell this fragrance throughout a large room such as a game room or living room. Strategically placing it though will make it so the person will walk through the fragrance as they enter a room and thus will continue to smell it for a time while in the room is the best you can hope for. While I presently do not have any placed in a bathroom, once the house is sold I will use these in the bathrooms of my new home where they will work perfectly. I do make sure I flip the reeds every other day which increases the fragrance dramatically around the immediate area. I will continue to buy these NEST fragrances as they work perfectly for what I need. Yes they are expensive and that alone will scare many people off from trying them. I hesitated myself for quite awhile but was glad I went ahead and made the purchase. So far I have had them for six weeks and I would say I have used slightly less then 1/4 of the fragrance. The glass bottle that holds the fragrance is very elegant and would look perfectly fine placed out for anyone to see. I am extremely happy with the NEST fragrance and reed diffuser. I hesitated over whether to give the product five stars or four. I felt as though I needed to take off one star simply because of the cost of the product. The initial cost is significant but the product is worth it so it caused me to go back and forth on whether to give it five stars. I decided that due to the cost and the fact that it covers only a small area, I will deduct one star from the rating. The most helpful point I think I can make in this review is that I will definitely be buying NEST fragrances again. ... show more

I was really looking forward to enjoying the Nest Moss and Mint reed diffuser. Instead, I was really disappointed. The scent is not nice at all. It is cloying and chemical and strong, and I can't discern any mint. I purchased this scent based on the positive reviews, and realize that scents are subjective to individual tastes. But I can't imagine why anyone would want this in their environment. Someday I may try another Nest fragrance... ... show more

This smells like juicy bright, green watermelon, herbal scent. There’s nothing really sweet about it. It’s more herbal and bright bright and juicy. Nest is the only fragrance I can use in my house. It does not give me a headache. It sits right beside me all day while I work and Does not bother my nose at all. I love this fragrance! ... show more

Just lovely item! Looks even better than pictured. Smells just as I'd hope - pleasant, light moss and mint smell - not too overwhelming in my small bathroom. The black reeds and the heavy, embossed glass really stand out. Very classy! Worth the higher price to me. I can reuse the jar. Sadly I see NEST does not sell refills, claiming the price would not differ much from the orig set. Well, I'll just have to buy some other company's refill.
