I love this product. This scent in particular is perfect (fresh but earthy; very natural outdoorsy scent), but it seems Nest has discontinued it. I like that you can adjust the strength of the scent by the number of diffusers in the bottle.     • Expensive but worth it.
First off, these are expensive. No argument there. However, I think they are worth it and let me explain why. I am in the process of selling my house. I was looking for something that would not be overpowering but would provide a nice aroma as potential buyers walked through the house. I was amazed at how awesome the NEST mint scented diffuser smells. It is very subtle and very faint but is just enough to become the dominant smell for the area. It is a fragrance that stays with the individual for a time as they pass through the room that contains the NEST bottle. Most importantly, it is a very pleasant fragrance. I have bought three of these to place throughout the house. One sits atop my Grandfather clock in the entry way of the house. It is the first smell that a potential buyer encounters and it stays with them as the progress throughout the house. I have one more NEST downstairs and one upstairs. All strategically place so a buyer will pass through the fragrance as the walk throughout the house. I also have the bottles hidden somewhat so it is not obvious to anyone. These diffusers DO NOT cover up unwanted smells so if you are trying to cover up smoke or pet smells these are not what you are looking for. They provide a very faint fragrance in a small area and I mean a small area. Do not expect to smell this fragrance throughout a large room such as a game room or living room. Strategically placing it though will make it so the person will walk through the fragrance as they enter a room and thus will continue to smell it for a time while in the room is the best you can hope for. While I presently do not have any placed in a bathroom, once the house is sold I will use these in the bathrooms of my new home where they will work perfectly. I do make sure I flip the reeds every other day which increases the fragrance dramatically around the immediate area. I will continue to buy these NEST fragrances as they work perfectly for what I need. Yes they are expensive and that alone will scare many people off from trying them. I hesitated myself for quite awhile but was glad I went ahead and made the purchase. So far I have had them for six weeks and I would say I have used slightly less then 1/4 of the fragrance. The glass bottle that holds the fragrance is very elegant and would look perfectly fine placed out for anyone to see. I am extremely happy with the NEST fragrance and reed diffuser. I hesitated over whether to give the product five stars or four. I felt as though I needed to take off one star simply because of the cost of the product. The initial cost is significant but the product is worth it so it caused me to go back and forth on whether to give it five stars. I decided that due to the cost and the fact that it covers only a small area, I will deduct one star from the rating. The most helpful point I think I can make in this review is that I will definitely be buying NEST fragrances again. ... show more

    • Ok but not worth the price
I only gave this product 3 stars because 1) it smells OK - but not the raving amazing-ness of some of the other reviewers. It kind of smells like normal air freshener, 2) it is a good amount and will last a long time, 3) the smell radiates to a very small area but if you like an extremely light touch (like me) than it will work for you, 4) the bottle is NOT at all fancy. It is just a square, glass bottle with some frosted cheesy pattern on the front. I have it somewhere where no one sees it. I decided not to return the product because I use this for a shelf of shoes I keep in the hallway so that it covers that funky shoe smell that collects in that area (in an area where there's not a lot of ventilation). For this purpose, and because I only smell the scent as I walk by that one specific area in the hallway, it works fine. It is not a smell I would want to have in a room where I spend time. It covers the "funky shoe smell" fine and they both dissipate by the time you leave the hallway area. ... show more

This is the only brand of diffuser I will ever buy again. It's pricey, but they usually last a really long time - much longer than the 90 days the salespeople tell you. The Moss and Mint smell is really fresh and clean, and the only gripe I have of it is that it isn't as long-lasting or strong as the Bamboo one. I've only had it open about three weeks and I can only smell it if I flip the reeds upside-down or if I stick my nose on it. I'll probably just go with bamboo again next time. :) ... show more

    • yeah.. it really does smell like Moss and mint..
This scent is great! I can't really explain how it really does smell like Moss and mint.. it's almost like a jungly smell with that sweet mint smell mixed. It smells totally legit. When I was trying to figure out what it might smell like when I was reading the description, I really couldn't imagine the smell of moss and mint, but when you get it, and smell it.. you're like. "oh wow, that really does smell like moss and mint" though how the hell I know this is news to me- because before I got it, I couldn't have told you what this would smell like. Somehow though- when you smell it, you realize 1. you love it, and 2. it smells just like Moss and mint **scratches head** ::shrugs:: Just sayin... ... show more

This is a very nice, light and clean mint-moss scent, but is does run on the lighter side for Nest products. If paired in the laundry room it could be easily dismissed as just the smell of fresh laundry. That said, it's the perfect match for someone looking to give off the impression of a room being clean without being overpowering. I say this diffuser would best compliment a guest wash-room and would equally make for a good gift for a college of friend, for it's simple subtleness. ... show more
