I usually enjoy this soap. When I received it, pump spout was broken due to not being wrapped. Nothing in the box was wrapped. I've had a few things lately that came damaged.

The Pumpkin Chai scent had a very warm gourmand aroma. But I didn't get any autumnal chai, or spice notes at all. More like nutty, buttery, brown sugary. Honestly reminds me more of a pecan pie yankee candle than what I imagine pumpkin chai would smell like. I was expecting sweet and spicy, but it was just too cloying and sweet for my taste with no crispy spice payoff. ... show more

The soap was very expensive but I have really wanted to try it. I typically buy the Michel Design because of the pretty bottles but some times their scents can be very hit or miss and reviews just made this one sound so nice. I am rather partial to foaming soaps and this one is not, but it is a very nice soap and not drying. I did feel that the dispenser was a little weak in that I am a bit heavy handed on pumping and I sometimes wind up with dribbles, but nothing bad. The smell is a bit musky and sweet and not over powering in any way. Just a really nice scent. The bottle has lasted now 3 months and there is likely a few more weeks there still to use. I was definitely turned off by the cost initially but now would definitely consider this treat again next pumpkin chai season. ... show more
