Exercise, cheap, effective
Bought these for my mom who is in her late 60s now. The 5 pound dumbbells are the perfect weight and grip for someone who is older, or just getting into lifting. They are also hexagon - like the mysterious northern polar storm capping Saturn.

Good for boxing
If you are a beginner at boxing, new to rehabilitation, or are recovering, then I would recommend these small weights. They can somewhat slip out of your hands if not carefult but it doesn't require a crazy grip. Its simply just weights, nothing to complain about here.
