Lights look good, but I bought 3 boxes of the 50-foot. No instructions at all, nothing. Had screws, clips, some odd rolls of tiny thin red plastic, and a remote. For a novice, there is nothing to even hint at how to put the things up, or if you can trim/cut it, or anything at all. Zero instructions. This product is unusable, unless you plan to just have it plugged in. From the pictures it looks like you can cut chunks out from those black lines and make shapes, it will just stop working once you cut it. The adhesive tape strip is so weak and not double sided. Absolutley zero idea on why they would include the SINGLE sided adhesive tape rolls. Have to go buy my own tape now separately. This product is trash. ... show more

I used these rope lights to outline the ceiling of a board game room. Pros: Lights look good. Casing hides individual leds well. Can be cut at designated intervals (around 6 inches). Really good price. Cons: Clips don’t hold rope very well upside down even when screwed into ceiling. AC plug gets really warm when lights are constantly changing color. Bright enough to be enjoyed, but not bright enough to read using it as the only light source. ... show more
