Great lights, the sticky backing doesn't last too long, so you're going to have to use the included nail system if you want it to stay up more than a few months. I use it in a window in a room that doesn't have an overhead light, so it works well for that.

I used these rope lights to outline the ceiling of a board game room. Pros: Lights look good. Casing hides individual leds well. Can be cut at designated intervals (around 6 inches). Really good price. Cons: Clips don’t hold rope very well upside down even when screwed into ceiling. AC plug gets really warm when lights are constantly changing color. Bright enough to be enjoyed, but not bright enough to read using it as the only light source.
