I prefer a more casual gym outfit and these are perfect. They’re loose and comfortable but a little fitted in the right places. 4 stars instead of 5 because I have to wear spandex shorts underneath or I get a wedgie from them really easily.

I purchased the 4" inseam shorts. I'm 5'10" and it's incredibly difficult to find women's workout shorts that aren't leggings and have an inseam greater than 2", but are still shorts. I have heat and exercise induced urticaria (hives), so I can't wear tight fitting clothing, such a leggings, while exercising. These shorts are comfortable and breathable with deep pockets and adjustable draw string. The length is perfect. My only note about these is the sizing. I'm 5'10" 145lbs. I bought a medium and they fit, but the waist band was a little snug and I didn't like how the scrunched band felt around my waist. For that reason, I sized up to a large. They have a little too much room in the waist but I'd much prefer to tie them closed than to feel like they are too tight. If you are sensitive to snug clothing, you may want to size up for the waist. Overall, these are my favorite workout shorts. The only change I would make to them would be zippered pockets.

I've ordered at least 4 sets of these because I loved the first set SO MUCH. This was my second set bought (a 3 pack of black) and for reasons beyond me, they are much smaller than the multicolor packs I have purchased. The multicolor 3 packs all fit and feel the same, a great length, feel, doesn't ride up, perfect. This 3 pack of black shorts were the same size but fit much smaller, we're much shorter, cut into me, rode up, wasn't the same inseam size, much small pockets, etc. Not sure why. I will be being even more of these but only in the multicolor 3 packs.
