Looking into Flash options for my Sony A6700 I learned that if I don't buy a Sony flash I'm asking for troubles, so when ordering Z760-S I was pretty sure I'll be visiting Whole Foods in next few days, returning this back to Amazon. Well, so far I'm very impressed. It works flawlessly with my A6700. I have been testing it for many hours now and cannot find any faults nor cannot make my camera lockup or behave erratically. It is definitely a keeper. I hope to see this performance continuing forward, but if anything changes I'll drop a note. It took me little time to figure out the settings, as the manual has very small fonts for these old eyes, but now it is all smooth sailing. I'm very happy with this purchase. Neewer done an awesome job! Ordered off camera trigger that will arrive today. Expecting more fun! :) ... show more

Review for: "NEEWER Z760-N TTL Flash Speedlite Kit for Nikon Cameras, 76Ws Speedlight with Magnetic Dome Diffuser, 2.4G GN60 1/8000s HSS, TTL/M Quick Switch TCM Key, 480 Full Power Flash, 2600mAh Battery & Charger" I am long time Nikon shooter on DSLR camera, and having APS-C line up and Full Frame, Before I jump to Mirrorless and chose Sony. For Nikon, I mostly rely on Nikon SB series flash, and have tried copule of YongNue flash but have no success. The issue on non Nikon flash is in-consistency, I don't mind if TTL does not work accurate, or manual mode a little bit off, as long as it is consistent I can use it. That is why I stick with Nikon flash. I switch to Sony and surprised that the Godox line of flash is fantastic. It is accurate, consistent and very affordable. I tried the 860 series, then V1, AD-100, AD-200 and all are good. I came across this Neewer Z760-N and I think it is very similar in Specification compared with Godox V1. I give it a try for my Nikon DSLR D3S which I still love till today. To my surprise, this flash actually perform very well, on par with Godox V1 with a little bit lighter and less pricey ($179 compared to $199). Specification is very similar: 76 Ws, 1.5s recycle, 480 full power flash per charge, HSS to 1/8000s, TCM (I like this feature and it works accurate most of the time), Weight 530 gr with battery. During my test with Nikon D3s, I really like it and enjoy it very much. The TCM mode works accurately. Direct flash, bounced flash it can keep up very well. The TTL is almost accurate, I switch to M and fired coupled of shot and I like the consistency and short recycle time. This is the beauty of Li-Ion powered flash compared to SB series that I have (using AA Alkaline). It comes with a magnetic round rubber adapter and round dome diffuser. To my surprise, I can even use my Godox AK-R1 kit. I don't have the Neewer remote system, so I tried my Godox remote trigger for Nikon (I Have both Transmitter and Receiver for Nikon), and attached this Z760-N TTL on top of Godox wireless Receiver for Nikon and it simply works without any issues. The I-TTL mode works so good and I was amazed. For this price point and "compatibility" with what I already have, I must say, good job Neewer. ... show more

Let me start of by saying that I am an amateur with lots of equipment. I like to play and experiment. This flash gives me a lot to play with! This is a solidly built flash: it is heavier than others I have used and comes with a pre-charged battery. I was able to start using it immediately after receipt. Charger includes a plug block, so everything I need is in the kit, as opposed to needing to supplement or find a usb slot to plug into. The battery fits flush into the unit without the need for a spring door to close on top of it. Install is easy and fast. ALL electronics should copy this method. This offers a number of different diffusers, including one built-in and an adaptor that accepts a magnetic dome. I know just enough to know that each one will help control the way the light strikes my subject: I'm going to have to play with these to identify the best situations for each. The instruction booklet with the unit is detailed and in multiple languages. It's small enough to fit comfortably in a camera bag and the type is large enough to read Options allow it to serve as a master or a slave, adjust for aperture.It offers auto, manual, and strobemodes, and can be used wirelessly. The contact fits easily in and out of the camera hot shoe. The one drawback is that the included case can't hold the flash and all the accessories...but serious photographers are carrying it and the accessories in a camera bag anyway. so it's no big deal. I own several Neweer products and all of them are superior, well-built products. I can;t wait to try out all the features this flash offers. ... show more

As soon as I opened it the light reminded me of a Godox V1. Everything about will be familiar to a long time Godox user. T The quality of light is very good. Recovery time is fast, TTL works well, and the light operates as both a remote slave and single on-camera flash. The modeling light is brighter than I had anticipated, and may be useful as a continuous fill-light for some scenes. Build-wise it's solid, and the included diffuser is a nice accessory that others make you purchase separately. I'd recommend this for anyone new to lighting, or as a light to toss in the bag "in case". It compares very favorably with the more expensive speedlights, and better than some. I would not hesitate to depend on it. ... show more
