Once again, the polished pin that connects the arm to the clamp just spins in, bottoms out and that's it. It will just come loose with the slightest counter clockwise force. And the tighter you do up the arm, the quicker that'll happen. No way to secure the clamp to the arm. Loktite would work but how about i just build the whole thing myself, save them the trouble? This mount is fine for thee lightest of duties, indoors, with thee cheapest cameras. If anything on the end of it cost more than the mount itself, buy something better. ... show more

very neat, well designed Clamp with Magic arm The clamp is made with metal and it does grab the round object very nicely. Even on the flat surface objects, the clamp holds pretty good. The magic arm is easy to adjust and comes with big knob to tight and lock the position.

As always Neewer seems to deliver a well-designed and well-made product. This super clamp is very versatile and has the ability it seems to clamp onto just about anything you may need. I found it to be stable and easy to adjust into the positions I needed. I also was happy it comes with 1/4-20 screw mount, GoPro Mount and a phone mount. The more products I acquire from Neewer the more I think I am turning into a "fanboy" of their brand. This clamp is another great product from them. So what makes this clamp "SUPER"? 1. All metal construction. This will last a lifetime. Built well and I suspect will hold the specified 7.7lb. payload without issue. I will test this with a heavier rig and add additional commentary if I discover otherwise. 2. Plenty of attachment points. 1/4"-20 and ARRI connection points provide plenty of flexibility in connecting your camera, lights, and microphones to the clamp. 3. Screw knob and ball heads on the "magic arm" are smooth and easy to adjust allowing you to position your device with ease. 4. PIVOT TIPS! My favorite feature, the pivot tips with pads allows you to mount easily to a flat surface like a table edge. It can also be mounted to a pole via the v-groove on the clamp arms. 5. Cold shoe mount provides an additional connection point should you need it. The only thing missing from this "SUPER" clamp is a cape. An excellent clamp to make part of your kit. ... show more

Two things I love...Neewer products and Magic Arms. This is my go-to product for capturing time lapses on my GoPro and phone, as well as the best item in my photography bag for getting unique angles. Neewer always makes extra-durable products that last for years, so the price is a value. This magic arm opens to almost 2 inches wide, comes with a GoPro and phone mount, and would make a wonderful gift for your favorite photographer. It is small enough to drop in your bag and have on hand for those unexpected moments. I have attached this thing to a tree limb on more than one occasion.
