I have worked with several portable flashes throughout years of working as a professional photographer and when I got this flash I for sure am amazed at its versatility, portability, power, and compatibility. It has never been this easy in the past to have such powerful flash to take outdoor. Definitely recommend this flash for outdoor photographers. I loved this flash so much that I bought the power adapter for indoor use. Saying that I wish the power adapter was including with the package since it has a hefty price. Saying that the price is so low for the whole setup that it is totally fair in my opinion. This flash used Bowen attachment which makes it great for all of us who own beauty dishes and other Bowen attachments .

Phenomenal flash for its price range, just bummed out the Q pro C trigger is not available. (Canon user) it comes with the q compact which is good for native speeds but seems to be the only option for the canon compatible trigger is to forcibly buy the q400 bundle. Hope to see the canon trigger available soon

I purchased this strobe back in the fall of 2023 and it was working perfectly fine. Everything was going well until one day it died. I thought great, I just need to charge it. Once I placed it on its charger, the indicator lights for the charge didn’t come on. I thought maybe then battery cells were just really drained so I left it overnight to charge. The next morning, same result. Thought maybe it was the charger itself, so I swapped it out for a known good charger. Still nothing. I absolutely love this light, but I’m highly disappointed that the battery won’t charge now and I’m stuck with a brick unless I buy an additional battery. And I really don’t want to invest $300 into buying 2 additional batteries because after seeing what happened to this one I’m highly cautious about purchasing another.

I had a defective unit, so this is an updated review. Customer support actually reached out to me and went above and beyond to make the situation right! Thank you 1000x! I have the new flash and ran it through its paces. Heres my takeaway. Portability is amazing! the case and ease to take it is great. Everything has its slot in the bag and its nice and tucked away. The flash itself synced right away, flash works exactly as it should. For the price and size this is exactly what I needed. Con: The only con I would say so far is the balancing on a standard tripod. With it being a rectangle box, and a softbox, it tends to really throw the weight forward. Almost to the point I get nervous of it tipping over. Its not the end of the world, but something I keep in mind whenever I use it. If this were outdoors and there was wind. If you have it higher up, theres a good chance it would tip due to the center of gravity.
